BUCYRUS—The Bucyrus Chamber of Commerce held their annual dinner Thursday evening at The Loft in Pickwick Place.
The 97th annual dinner celebrated past achievements and looked forward to the upcoming year.
Bucyrus City Councilman Brenton Potter, the owner of The Tattoo Factory, was named The Young Professional of the Year.
Other award winners included:
Citizen of the year: Mary Lee Minor.
Volunteer of the year: Doug Foght.
Entrepreneur of the year: Katie Butler of Salon Ooh-La-La
Organization of the year: Bucyrus Backpack Program.
Posthumous citizen of the year: Dr. Larry Leone.
Nominations for the awards were collected from Crawford County residents beginning in August and September. The nominations were then reduced to three finalists in each category by a committee of volunteers. The committee then selected award winners.
