SANDUSKY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Cedar Point is bringing back its beloved Happy Friar’s Fresh-Cut Fries Fest from Sept. 6 to 8, celebrating the iconic midway snack that has delighted guests since 1942. This year’s event features four new mouth-watering recipes.
At Happy Friar, located near Gemini, guests can indulge in 5 Alarm Fresh-Cut Fries, topped with spicy chili, ghost pepper cheese, and habanero pepper, or Pierogi Fresh-Cut Fries, featuring mini pierogis, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing.
Over at Hot Potato, near Raptor, the offerings include Nashville Hot Fresh-Cut Fries with grilled Nashville hot chicken, cheese sauce, and pickles, and Chicken Parmesan Fresh-Cut Fries with grilled chicken, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses.
These limited-time flavors join the traditional favorites like Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan, Original, and Chili & Cheese Fresh-Cut Fries.
Throughout the weekend, Happy Friar, the mascot of the Happy Friar fresh-cut fries stand, will be making appearances for selfies and family photos, encouraging everyone to try Cedar Point’s special fries.
