The week of March 10-14 has been designated as “Ohio Graduation Test” week for the entire state of Ohio. Students are required to pass all five parts of the Ohio Graduation Test – Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. If a student misses any portion of the Ohio Graduation Test, March 18-22 is designated make-up week.

Colonel Crawford High School realizes the importance of these tests and is implementing a 2-hour delay start for the high school students only, in grades 9, 11, and 12 during the week of March 10-14. Only sophomores, any Junior or Senior re-takes, and Pioneer Students will report at their normal times. Colonel Crawford buses will run on their regular times during that week providing transportation for students, including Pioneer students. Sophomores, any Junior or Senior re-takes, and Pioneer students will need to arrive at school before the regular start time of 7:40 am, whether by school bus or their own transportation, if they do not have any other form of transportation on these dates.

Any high school student (in grades 9, 11, 12) that rides his or her bus to school will report to the high school cafeteria for a study hall during the 2-hour delay start on those days.

Again, only Colonel Crawford High School will be on a 2-hour delay during the week of March 10-14, except for the sophomore students, any junior or Senior re-takes, and Pioneer students, who will attend at their normal times.

Also, a list of suggestions appears below to help prepare students for the taking of the Ohio Graduation Tests.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Colonel Crawford High School Principal Jake Bruner at 419-562-4666.

If we would have a weather delay during the week of March 10-14, it will be announced as a “2-Hour Weather Delay for Colonel Crawford Schools.”
