Two people were transported to the Galion Community Hospital after being involved in a car accident Sunday evening.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office reported that eighteen-year-old Katelyn Bailey of Bucyrus had been traveling westbound on State Route 19, just west of Parcher Rd., when she lost control of her vehicle. Bailey’s car went off the south side of the roadway before overturning and coming to a rest on its top.

Bailey and her passenger, twenty-four-year-old Stephen Witten of Bucyrus, were transported by LifeStar to the Galion Community Hospital for treatment on injuries sustained in the crash.

Jefferson Township Fire Department also responded to the scene.
