Calling hours to be held at City Hall for Moore

In the wake of the sudden passing of Mayor Roger Moore, the City of Bucyrus announces the following list of events and closures.

In honor of Mayor Moore, Bucyrus City Hall will close at noon on Friday, May 23. All City Hall offices will close at this time.

Public calling hours for Mayor Moore will be held at Bucyrus City Hall, 500 S. Sandusky Street, Bucyrus, Ohio, in Council Chambers on Friday, May 23, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24. Services will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene Bucyrus, 2165 State Route 4, Bucyrus, Ohio. Burial services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, located at 835 Kaler Avenue, Bucyrus, Ohio.

Those wishing to make donations may give to Homecare Matters Hospice, Loren’s Cancer Care Fund or the Community Foundation for Crawford County through Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St. (419.562.6811), Bucyrus, Ohio.
