Today is the Spring Primary in Ohio and there are a handful of local issues and one contested race on the ballot in Crawford County.

There is one county-wide issue, a five-year, 0-5-mill renewal levy for Crawford County Children’s Services. Texas Township voters will decide a 10-year, 1.0-mill renewal levy for current operating expenses.

The Wynford school district has two renewal levies on the ballot. The first is a three-year, 2.3-mill emergency levy. The second is a three-year, 6.9-mill levy for current operating expenses.

The Crestline school district has placed a 10-year, 0.75-percent income levy on the ballot for new money.

The only contested race is for Democrat voters in Bucyrus where former mayors Michael Jacobs and Daniel Ross are vying for that party’s position on the ballot in the November General Election.

Election results will be available this evening on WQEL and online at www.crawfordcountynow.com.
