BUCYRUS-The Bucyrus Police Department has postponed the annual National Night Out due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event is normally held in August but has been postponed until Oct. 6. The department also postponed the annual car show from June until September.

12:43 a.m.-A 9-1-1 open line was investigated in the area of Hill Street.
12:49 a.m.-Officers responded with the Bucyrus Fire Department regarding two trees that had come down in the roadway in the 1000 block of South Sandusky Avenue.
2:46 a.m.-A disturbance in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.
9:14 a.m.-A possible water break in the 1100 block of Hopley Avenue was unfounded.
10:04 a.m.-Officers picked up a counterfeit bill in the 900 block of Marion Road.
12:48 p.m.-A hit-skip accident was investigated in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.
12:53 p.m.-Officers were sent to Walmart lot to do a welfare check of a child in a vehicle. The vehicle was gone upon officers’ arrival.
1:35 p.m.-Joseph Will, 41, Bucyrus, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County, assault and disorderly conduct after a report of a fight in the 200 block of South Lane Street. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.
2:56 p.m.- A hit-skip accident was reported in the 200 block of West Lucas Street.
4:07 p.m.- Officers spoke to a Nauman Avenue resident about possible fraud.
5:23 p.m.- A parking complaint was made in the 300 block of Lawn Avenue.
8:04 p.m.- Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the area of Pinewood Court.
8:06 p.m.-A disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Hopley Avenue.
8:29 p.m.- A report of vehicles speeding in the area of Beal and South Sandusky Avenues was investigated.
8:48 p.m.- A report of a vehicle blocking the roadway on West Warren Street was investigated. The vehicle was gone upon officers’ arrival.
9:03 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of West Galen Street.
10:21 p.m.-Amber Bostic, 24, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.
10:45 p.m.-A resident in the 200 block of Hopley Avenue reported being threatened by someone he knows.

2:31 a.m.-A verbal warning for loud music was issued in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.
3:13 a.m.-Officers assisted a resident in the 800 block of Clay Street remove a possum from her house.
4:33 a.m.-Officers responded with EMS personnel to the 100 block of Washington Square.
11:03 a.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 900 block of Maple Street.
11:33 a.m.-Officers investigated a breaking and entering in the 500 block of South East Street.
12:06 p.m.-Officers spoke to a woman at the police department about a traffic matter.
12:47 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a sex crime.
2:57 p.m.-Officers investigated a complaint of an erratic driver in the S Sandusky and Southern Ave.
3:06 p.m.-Two people were arrested on warrants out of Crawford County in the 100 block of North Spring Street. Both parties were taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.
3:13 p.m.-A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was investigated in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue.
7:01 p.m.-Officers responded to a report of vandalism in the 800 block of South East Street.
8:17 p.m.-A fight in the 900 block of Monnett Street was investigated.
9:43 p.m.-Officers conducted a traffic stop in the North Sandusky Avenue and River Street area. A citation was issued.
10:14 p.m.-Officers investigated a 911 hang-up in the 300 block of West Center Street.
11:48 p.m.-Officers responded with EMS personnel to an unknown medical call in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street.
