7:45 a.m.-Officers picked up drug abuse instruments in the 700 block of West Perry Street.

3:29 p.m.- Officers assisted Crawford County Juvenile Services in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street.

3:59 p.m.- A traffic complaint was investigated in the area of West Oakwood Avenue and South Poplar Street.

4:20 p.m.- Officers assisted a person at the police department about a theft case.

4:47 p.m.- A 16-year-old boy was reported missing from the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street. He was later located and returned to his parent.

5:08 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 1100 block of East Mansfield Street.

5:24 p.m.- A parking complaint was reported in the 200 block of West Warren Street.

6:25 p.m.- A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 500 block of East Warren Street.

6:50 p.m.- An report of a dog running at large was made in the 600 block of South Walnut Street.

8:06 p.m.- An erratic driver was reported in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

9:11 p.m.- A report of a dog running at large was made in the 1100 block of Hopley Avenue.

11:26 p.m.-A disturbance between neighbors was investigated in the 300 block of Arch Drive.

12:42 a.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies at a domestic disturbance on King Road.

4:32 a.m.-Officers attempted to check the welfare of a resident in the 100 block of North Spring Street.

5:33 a.m.-Officers spoke to a group of juveniles in the 900 block of Rogers Street. They were on their own property but were advised to keep the volume down while outside at night.

6:27 a.m.-A resident in the 200 block of West Charles Street reported her vehicle entered overnight. A wallet and medication were stolen.

8:47 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 1300 block of Whetstone Street. It was a woman yelling for her dog.

11:56 a.m.-Officers assisted a man having mental issues in the 400 block of Emerson Street.

12:06 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of East Warren Street was investigated. It was a couple having mechanical problems.

12:23 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a breaking and entering in the 300 block of East Oakwood Avenue. A lady’s purse was taken.

1:20 p.m.-Christopher Bunker, 48, Bucyrus, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County after officers received a report of suspicious activity in the 800 block of Beverly Drive. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

1:55 p.m.-A motorist was issued a citation for no operator’s license in the Katherine and Rensselaer Street area.

2:13 p.m.-Officers stood by in the 500 block of Gay Street for a property exchange.

2:23 p.m.-Jerry Carroll, 32, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication after attempting to enter houses in the 800 block of South Poplar Street. He was held until sober.

2:58 p.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance personnel in the 800 block of Kaler Avenue.

3:24 p.m.-Officers spoke with a citizen in the 500 block of Myers Street regarding a neighbor dispute.

3:37 p.m.-A disturbance in the 400 block of E Rensselaer St was investigated.

3:59 p.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies on a traffic stop in the East Mary Street area.

5:42 p.m.-Officers spoke to a citizen regarding a landlord-tenant dispute.

5:44 p.m.-A traffic citation was issued for driving under suspension in the East Southern and South Sandusky Avenue area. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

9:38 p.m.-Officers checked the area of Schaber Avenue and Willard Street after a report of suspicious activity.

9:49 p.m.-Officers checked the 1300 block of High Street for reported fireworks.

12:13 a.m.-A parking complaint in the 300 block of Kramer Avenue was investigated.

1:21 a.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a person at Circle K. He had fallen asleep in his vehicle at the gas pumps but was fine otherwise.

2:27 a.m.-Officers assisted a Crawford County Sheriff’s deputy on a traffic stop in the area of East Mansfield and Fisher Streets.

3:37 a.m.-Officers checked on a Crawford County Sheriff’s deputy speaking to a person south of the city limits on South Sandusky Avenue.

10:03 a.m.-Officers took a report of vandalism to a residence in the 500 block of Kaler Avenue.

12:58 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 800 block of East Warren Street.

3:50 p.m.-Officers were requested to check on someone having mental issues in the Woodbine Apartments area.

4:11 p.m.-Officers responded to a report of a vehicle with two children left unattended. The vehicle was gone upon officers’ arrival.

4:30 p.m.-Officers did a welfare check in the 800 block of South Walnut Street. The person was found and later transported via Portsmouth EMS personnel.

6:25 p.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth EMS personnel in the 300 block of West Warren Street.

7:59 p.m.-Officers checked Aumiller Park for a reported vehicle driving at high rates of speed on the sidewalks.

11:01 p.m.-A barking dog complaint was investigated in the 1100 block of Hopley Avenue. The resident took the dogs inside.

Monday, June 1, 2020

1:28 a.m.-Officers checked on a Crawford County deputy on a traffic stop at Circle K.

1:29 a.m.-A resident in the 400 block of Wallace Avenue reported his residence vandalized.

2:50 a.m.-A resident in the 800 block of Beverly Drive reported hearing something hitting her residence.  No one was in the area when officers checked.

5:17 a.m.-Shane Ohl, 27, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.
