Tuesday promises to be a full and productive evening for Galion City Council. That evening marks the first of two regular meetings for the full City Council in November and members will consider 11 pieces of legislation including eight ordinances and three resolutions.
Three of the ordinances pertain to the St. Rt. 598 widening project and all three of those are scheduled for a first reading. Council will have third readings on ordinances that set the salary and benefits for Utility Office Manager, one authorizing the number of employees for city departments and another to retain an attorney for eminent domain litigation.
A resolution approving the mayor’s appointment of Kate Strickler to the Galion City Health Board will be a second reading.
The City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building.
