If you think you had a rough Monday, you won’t get a lot of empathy from anyone on the Bucyrus police force that was on duty that day. Police arrested four people and investigated at least three thefts.
Officers responding to a report of an argument involving a man with a gun in an alley off of Wingert Street ended up arresting 19-year-old Dustin Barton. Thirty-three-year-old Justin Barger was arrested and charged with domestic violence. Twenty-eight-year-old Amber Nelson was arrested as a result of an outstanding warrant when police went to Rogers Street to investigate a disturbance there. David Charlton was arrested and charged with theft. Charlton was also served with five income tax summons.
In addition, police are investigating the reported theft of a jet ski and trailer from Woodlawn Avenue; a Harley-Davidson motorcycle from East Mansfield Street; and a two-and-one-half ton air conditioning unit from East Irving Street.
