Lowe-Volk Park is going to be a happening place this coming Saturday. The Crawford Park District will host three events at its park in Leesville.
The Colonel Crawford Lions Club and Friends of the Park District will host a Recycle Day from 9 to noon.
Arrowhead Day was rescheduled and will begin at 10 a.m.
Finally, the Amazing Animal Extravaganza will be held from noon to 3 that afternoon. Experience snakes, turtles, salamanders, and many more. Various pet owners will be on hand to answer questions and to allow visitors to “hold and touch” when appropriate. Animals will be on display for that “up close and personal” experience.
