BUCYRUS — A local tee shirt campaign let business owners know their customers were thinking about them.
Luann Krebs, owner of River’s Edge Embroidery, Screen Printing and Signs, created the #LoveLocal community support tee shirt campaign to spread positivity and to give local patrons to support their favorite businesses.
For every $20 tee shirt sold, $10 was able to be donated to the business of the customer’s choice.
Amanda Willson of Bucyrus Massage Therapy, one of the businesses selected by patrons to receives donations, was grateful residents kept her in mind during the pandemic.
“I’m honored that community members helped out and thought of us to help us stay afloat,” Willson said. “Every little bit helps. Everything has been up in the air and changing day to day. We appreciate our clients who helped us get through it.”
Now once again operational, Willson said it was feeling that support that helped during the business’ shutdown.
Krebs previously said that while some businesses like restaurants were able to continue some form of business, like carry-out food, she wanted to find a way to help other businesses feel supported during a stressful time.
She said she wanted a sense of togetherness to be spread around the community.
