BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Cathleen Blankenship, a resident of Bucyrus, was thrilled to discover that she had won a national contest sponsored by Showplace across the U.S. On Thursday afternoon, she was surprised by Showplace staff with a check for $10,000.

The contest, which ran throughout October, concluded with the winner being announced on Monday.
In addition to the contest win, the Bucyrus Showplace store is dedicated to giving back this holiday season by providing Thanksgiving meals for two families of four. Community members interested in participating can visit the store to sign up, or if they know of a family in need, they can register that family as well. The drawing for the Thanksgiving meals will take place on November 25, with deliveries scheduled for November 27.
Furthermore, Showplace is also running its annual toy drive to support local families during the holiday season. For more information about the toy drive or to learn more about the Thanksgiving meal initiative, interested individuals can contact Showplace at 419-562-7175.
