BUCYRUS—No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Bucyrus on Friday evening that resulted in one vehicle landing on its side.

Bucyrus Police were called to the intersection of East Mansfield and Walnut Streets at 10:17 p.m. to investigate the crash.

The investigation revealed that Trisha Lewis, 27, Bucyrus, was traveling southbound on North Walnut Street and failed to stop at the flashing red light.  The 2004 Buick Rendezvous was struck by a 2007 Kia Sedona driven by Mario G. Amesquita, 48, Marion, who was traveling eastbound in the 100 block of East Mansfield Street.  Lewis’s vehicle was struck in the passenger side rear, causing her Buick to flip on its side and slide approximately 15 feet in the roadway.

There were no injuries reported at the scene. Lewis received a citation for failure to yield and driving under suspension.
