BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Officer Micah Graves was officially sworn in today at a ceremony held at the Bucyrus Council Chambers.
The event, which took place at 5:00 PM, marked a significant milestone as Micah joined the ranks of the Bucyrus Police Department, becoming the latest addition to the team.
Micah is no stranger to the department, having spent the past decade as an active member of the Bucyrus Police Explorers Post and the Police Auxiliary Unit.
He follows in the footsteps of his older brother, Officer Noah Graves, who has served in the department since 2021.

A veteran of the United States Army, Micah recently completed a tour in Korea before returning home to pursue a career in law enforcement.
He was hired by the department while attending the police academy, following the latest civil service test.
Surrounded by family, friends, city officials, and fellow officers, Micah took the oath of office, formally stepping into his role as a full-time officer.
As a Bucyrus native, Micah is deeply committed to the community and embodies the spirit of service that the department values.
His dedication and proactive approach are expected to make a positive impact on the department and the residents of Bucyrus.
The Bucyrus Police Department warmly welcomes Officer Micah Graves to its ranks, looking forward to his contributions to the community.
