Bucyrus police made a traffic stop Tuesday evening. Police not only wrote a traffic ticket, but also made an arrest for drug possession.
Officers made the stop shortly before 9 o’clock Tuesday evening in the 200 block of South East Street. Twenty-six-year-old Heather Hunt was a passenger in the car and arrested for possession of drugs. Hunt was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center where she will be held until her court appearance when bond will be set.
Hunt has two felony convictions in Crawford County. In 2010 and 2012, Hunt was convicted of fifth-degree drug possession. Hunt was placed on community control both times.
The driver of the car was Tasia Myers who was cited for driving under suspension.
