BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On Thursday at approximately 4:45 p.m., Bucyrus Police Department Officers Wireman and M. Graves, initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of West Beal Avenue and South Sandusky Avenue due to an equipment violation.
During the encounter with the vehicle’s driver and passenger, officers noted several criminal indicators that prompted further investigation.

To assist with the search, K-9 Capone was brought to the scene to perform a free air sniff of the vehicle.
The K-9 returned a positive indication of narcotic odor, leading officers to search the vehicle thoroughly.
During this search, a coat belonging to the passenger, identified as 32-year-old Jose Caudillo from Galion, was found to contain a bag suspected to be methamphetamine.
Following his arrest, Caudillo informed officers that he was also in possession of a bag of Fentanyl and a hypodermic needle, both concealed on his person.
He was subsequently transported to the Crawford County Jail, where he will be held pending court proceedings.
