BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Bucyrus City Council Finance Committee will convene in a special session on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. to address the city’s budget shortfalls and explore potential solutions. The town hall meeting will take place in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 500 S. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, OH 44820. The public is encouraged to attend.

Members of the Bucyrus City Administration will be present to educate both the public and the Finance Committee on various sources of revenue and the different revenue funds relevant to each department. This meeting aims to foster open dialogue, allowing the public to propose solutions to the budget shortfalls and receive constructive feedback from the Finance Committee and other city officials.

The Finance Committee has issued this advance notice to inform the public of the specially called meeting and to provide ample time for residents to research and prepare items for discussion.
