BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A Bucyrus Street Department employee, Anthony VanHouten, 52, was arrested Thursday afternoon at the City Garage.

Although no formal charges have been filed, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s inmate roster, VanHouten is on ‘hold for investigation.”

Crawford County Now reached out to Bucyrus Mayor Bruce Truka who confirmed that Houten has been placed on administrative leave without pay. Truka noted that the city is fully cooperating with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Prosecutor regarding this investigation.

Crawford County Now reached out to Prosecutor Matt Crall early Thursday evening but did not receive a response.
