On Monday, July 24, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 500 S. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, a public hearing will be conducted by The Bucyrus City Council to consider proposed amendments to the Bucyrus City Zoning Ordinance. This public hearing is in accordance with Bucyrus Codified Ordinances 1125.06, 1145.06 and Ohio Revised Code 713.12.
The Bucyrus City Platting Committee has recommended the following amendments to the Bucyrus Zoning Ordinances:
- 02 Permitted Uses in Downtown Business District: Allow retail sales in the Downtown Business District’s right of way, namely sidewalks, as a permitted use, with several stipulations.
- 03 Conditional Uses in Downtown Business District: Allow dining/alcohol sales in the Downtown Business District’s right of way, namely sidewalks, as a conditional use, with several stipulations.
The proposed zoning changes shall be on file for public examination in the office of the Zoning Administrator at City Hall.
