Graduation season brings the news of scholarships and grant awards for many anxious high school seniors. Four Bucyrus High School seniors were awarded local scholarships and grants during the annual Crawford College Connection awards presentation at Epworth United Methodist Church May 18.
“We are so proud of our Crawford College Connection Award winners,” Secondary School Principal Dr. Mark Burke said. “They are amazing young people, and I cannot think of four more deserving students.”
The Bucyrus High School seniors that received awards included:
- Max Constantine – In-As-much Circle of International King’s Daughters and Sons Grant
- Taryn Gathright – In-As-much Circle of International King’s Daughters and Sons Grant
- Colin Light – Crawford College Connection Moose Grant
- Logan Plumley -“Dream Big” Grant in honor of Bob and Sandy Laipply
“Anytime our students are awarded scholarship or grant monies, it reflects positively on their parents and our staff,” Superintendent Kevin Kimmel said. “The four students that received these awards are some of Bucyrus’ best and brightest, and I’m excited to see what the next chapter of their lives holds for each one.”
