The Bucyrus Secondary School will be selling raffle tickets for a copper kettle from the D. Picking Company in Bucyrus beginning October 13. Tickets will be available for purchase until Jan. 10, 2015, and the winner will be announced during the boys’ home basketball game the evening of Jan. 10.
The purpose of the fundraiser is to support student activities and field trips. Student groups, clubs and sports teams can participate in the fundraiser, and proceeds will be divided evenly based on organizational ticket sales.
“We are always looking for new avenues to fund enhancements to our students’ educational experiences,” Secondary School Principal Dr. Mark Burke said. “This is a new venture for our building, and we hope our community will continue supporting our students.”
