8:46 a.m.-Officers conducted a civil standby in the Bucyrus Plaza area.

10:32 a.m.-A welfare check was done on a woman in the 500 block of Rogers Street.

1:32 p.m.-Officers picked up a suspicious package in the 900 block of Rogers Street. Someone dropped drug paraphernalia at a garage sale.

1:57 p.m.-A report of a civil protection order violation in the 900 block of Elm Street is being investigated.

2:31 p.m.-Officers checked on a female laying on the ground in the 800 block of South Spring Street. She stated she was napping.

4:27 p.m.- Officers investigated a domestic argument in the 200 block of Hopley Avenue, by a parking lot. Matthew Hale, 39, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. He was taken to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

4:53 p.m.-A report of possible drug activity was made.

6:37 p.m.- A 911 hang-up call was investigated in the 200 block of Penn Avenue.

6:50 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the 100 block of Fisher Street. A person retrieved property and left.

7:06 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 600 block of East Oakwood Avenue. A resident reported unauthorized use of power with an extension cord.

7:17 p.m.- A vandalism report was taken in the 900 block of Faustina Avenue. A resident reported an unknown vehicle drove over the sidewalk.

7:25 p.m.-A 911 hang-up call in the 1700 block of Marion Road was a child playing with the phone.

7:41 p.m.-Officers investigated a traffic complaint at Aumiller Park. Officers contacted the juvenile driver and their parent.

9:25 p.m.- A 911 hang-up call was investigated in the 1700 block of Marion Road. A juvenile was warned about misusing 911.

7:41 p.m.- A report of a vehicle speeding the area of Aumiller Park was investigated.

9:17 p.m.- An assault report was taken in the 300 block of North Walnut Street. Officers and EMS responded for one individual that was engaged in a fight with three others.

9:46 p.m.- A report of juveniles fighting in the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue was made.

10:15 p.m.-A report of an intoxicated male walking in the 600 block of South Walnut Street was made. The man was not located.

10:47 p.m.- Officers spoke to a person about a civil matter at the police department.

10:50 p.m.- A suspicious person was reported in the 1000 block of East Beal Avenue.

11:23 p.m.-A report of a possible breaking and entering was made in the area of Spring and West Mansfield Streets. It was a landlord-tenant matter.

12:22 a.m.-A report of juveniles trying to break into a vehicle was reported in the 300 block of West Irving Street.

12:56 a.m.- A report of drug activity was investigated in the 500 block of Park Avenue.

1:40 a.m.- Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol in the area of Wingert and Plymouth Streets.

1:43 a.m.-A domestic dispute was reported at the police department.

2:06 a.m.-Officers made a traffic stop on Beal Avenue at Adams Drive. Michael Ponziani, 25, Bucyrus, was arrested for possession of drugs. He is being held at the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

3:20 a.m.-Officers assisted with removing a bat from a house in the 800 block of South Walnut Street.

5:27 a.m.-Officers checked the 1000 block of East Beal Avenue after a resident reported knocking on her doors.

5:41 a.m.-Officers met a caller at Washington Square that was reporting domestic violence. Cheryl James, 46, was arrested for domestic violence in the 300 block of East Rensselaer Street.

8:42 a.m.-Officers responded to the 200 block of East Charles Street for a report of a person ‘tweaking,’ and yelling, appearing intoxicated. Dustin Cleavenger, 29, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of drugs. He is being held pending a court appearance.

8:51 a.m.-An injured skunk in the 900 block of Prospect Street was removed from the area.

9:17 a.m.-A Neighborhood Watch participant came to the police department to report suspicious activity.

9:22 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a domestic issue in the 1000 block of South East Street.

11:07 a.m.-Officers returned a young child that got out of the house in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

11:16 a.m.-A report of breaking and entering in the 600 block of South Walnut Street was investigated.

11:22 a.m.-Officers spoke to a couple of women at the police department about a disturbance.

11:23 a.m.-Officers delivered a message for Upper Sandusky Police in the 900 block of East Warren Street.

1:21 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 1200 block of East Mansfield Street with an incident in which a rider of a power wheelchair had tipped over.

1:36 p.m.-A welfare check was done on a man in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

1:38 p.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Emerson Street was investigated.

2:03 p.m.-A man was reported ‘tweaking’ in front of the old armory in the 100 block of South Spring Street while shirtless, wearing only one shoe and sitting on the ground. Jason Utz, 45, Bucyrus, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center and is being held pending a court appearance.

2:26 p.m.-A report of a hit-skip accident in the 500 block of South Spring Street was investigated.

2:41 p.m.-A dog bite was reported in the 100 block of West Oakwood Avenue.

3:37 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 800 block of Beverly Drive.

3:49 p.m.-A report of a possible domestic disturbance was made in the 1000 block of Lavina Avenue. The call was unfounded.

5:43 p.m.-A report of a dog running loose was investigated in the 900 block of Faustina Avenue.

5:58 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 800 block of High Street.

7:06 p.m.- A report of suspicious activity was made in the 500 block of East Mansfield Street. The people were painting their car for a race tomorrow.

7:13 p.m.-A juvenile complaint about kids on a golf cart was made in the area of Aumiller Park.

8:16 p.m.- A domestic dispute was made in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street.

8:40 p.m.- Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 300 block of North Sandusky Avenue at the Kroger Fuel station when a motorist leaked gasoline.

8:46 p.m.- Officers assisted a Rogers Street resident to remove a bat from their home.

9:10 p.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 500 block of East Charles Street.

9:59 p.m.-A possible domestic dispute was investigated in the 1k00 block of East Mansfield Street.

10:33 p.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance Service personnel in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street.

10:47 p.m.-A traffic complaint was investigated in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

12:19 a.m.-Officers spoke to a Melody Lane resident about a domestic issue.

2:40 a.m.-A motorist was given a verbal warning in the Marion Road and South Sandusky Avenue area for being suspicious in the area.

6:07 a.m.-Officers checked the 400 block of West Mary Street after a report of a suspicious person looking in vehicles in the area.

9:08 a.m.-A resident in the 300 block of West Oakwood Avenue reported a purse missing from the home.

11:11 a.m.-Officers investigated a natural death in the 300 block of Emerson Street.

11:50 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the Aumiller Park area was investigated. Officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle and the person was playing Pokemon Go.

12:28 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of damage to a vehicle in the 1300 block of Whetstone Street.

1:03 p.m.-Officers delivered a message in the 500 block of Kaler Avenue for the New Washington Police Department.

2:03 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle on Washington Square.

2:40 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 600 block of West Irving Street.

2:47 p.m.- Officers took a report of a person being threatened.

6:51 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street.

7:16 p.m.- Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 1000 block of Martha Avenue.

8:58 p.m.- A report of a vehicle speeding in the area of Short and East Streets was investigated.

8:59 p.m.- Officers assisted a Warren Street resident to remove a bat from their home.

9:27 p.m.- A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 800 block of Kaler Avenue.

10:00 p.m.- Edward Puryear, 33, was arrested on two Crawford County warrants after officers were called to the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue on a possible domestic disturbance. Puryear was given a court date to appear and released.

10:24 p.m.- Ronald Shirkey, 34, was arrested in the 100 block of West Mary Street on a Crawford County warrant after officers were called to a disturbance in the area. Shirkey was issued a court date to appear and released.

1143 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 1300 block of Whetstone Street.

12:04 a.m.-A traffic complaint was investigated in the 100 block of Wallace Avenue. A car had rolled out of a driveway and it was pushed back into the drive.

2:21 a.m.-A theft report was taken in the 500 block of West Southern Avenue and a gun was reported stolen from a car.

2:24 a.m.- A theft report was made in the 500 block of Euclid Avenue. A tablet was stolen from a vehicle.

3:52 a.m.-A noise complaint in the 1300 block of Home Circle Drive was unfounded. The resident was packing his car for work.

4:40 a.m.-Three people were reportedly were causing a disturbance on the Circle K Parking lot in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue. They left the area without incident.

5:23 a.m.-A West Liberty Street resident reported her unlocked vehicle entered overnight. She reported her purse missing from the vehicle. The purse was later recovered near West Liberty and South Spring Streets.

8:55 a.m.-Officers secured the gates at the Sandusky River entrance to Aumiller Park due to high water.

9:33 a.m.-A report of a vicious dog running loose in the 1000 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated. The County Dog Warden responded and served a notice to the owner.

10:44 a.m.-A person came to the station to speak with an officer regarding a domestic issue.

11:09 a.m.-A report of a person lying in the 200 block of North Walnut Street turned out to be a female sleeping.

12:23 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of an open building. The manager was contacted to secure it.

12:35 p.m.-Officers spoke with a resident at the station regarding a theft.

2:10 p.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 500 block of Gay Street.

2:35 p.m.-A report of a minibike running in the 800 block of East Southern Avenue was investigated.

4;13 p.m.- A purse found in the 600 block of West Southern Avenue was returned to the owner. It was a purse stolen from a vehicle the previous night.

5:40 p.m.- A disturbance caused by a disorderly resident was investigated in the 1100 block of West Mansfield Street.

5:50 p.m.- A vandalism was reported in the area of Bucyrus Plaza.

6:30 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 500 block of Tiffin Street.

6:31 p.m.- A welfare check was requested on Plymouth Street.

6:44 p.m.-A report of two suspicious males in their mid-20’s in the 1500 block of West Southern Avenue was investigated. They were reportedly soliciting for money for veterans and were believed to be attempting to scam people.

6:57 p.m.-A welfare check was requested in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street. The person was provided with assistance through counseling.

7:23 p.m.- A disturbance caused by an intoxicated pedestrian was investigated in the 900 block of Harris Avenue.

7:27 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 400 block of East Charles Street.

9:12 p.m.-A 17-year-old boy was arrested for domestic violence after officers responded to a domestic incident in the 900 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

11:46 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the Wayne Avenue area was investigated.
