BUCYRUSꟷBucyrus Police are searching for three alleged shoplifters from a theft incident from a business in the 1600 block of East Mansfield Street at 7:09 p.m. on Thursday.
Three people n the store took a vehicle code reader and mini-micro torch. They left the area in a white GMC Yukon and officers are investigating the license plate information to track down the suspects.

10:04 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 300 block of Nora Street.
10:07 a.m.-Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol with a traffic stop in the 1800 block of North Sandusky Avenue.
11:52 a.m.-A report of a reckless driver in the 700 block of South Sandusky Avenue was investigated.
1:05 p.m.-A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was investigated in the 100 block of South Sandusky Avenue. One driver was checked out by EMS personnel due to a non-related medical issue.
1:48 p.m.-A resident in the 700 block of Wilbur Street spoke with officers about a civil eviction issue.
2:27 p.m.-Officers spoke to a woman at the police department about a neighborhood problem.
3:11 p.m.- Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue.
5:22 p.m.- An alarm in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.
3:27 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 900 block of Whetstone Street.
4:20 p.m.- A traffic citation for speed was issued in the area of Highland and Woodlawn Avenues.
4:29 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a person urinating in the street. Anthony Love was arrested the 400 block of Aurora Street for disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.
4:42 p.m.- Officers spoke to a person at the police department about a civil matter.
5:35 p.m.- A report of an assault was taken in the 500 block of South Walnut Street.
7:29 p.m.- A welfare check was requested on Gay Street. Two people in a vehicle were waiting for keys to pick up another vehicle.
7:52 p.m.- A verbal warning for loud music was issued in the 1300 block of Monnett Street.
8:30 p.m.- A theft report of a cell phone and charger was taken in the 400 block of East Lucas Street.
9:21 p.m.-A juvenile complaint was investigated in the 700 block of Prospect Street.
9:46 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated on West Perry Street. A complainant reported being followed by another vehicle.
10:16 p.m.- Officers spoke to a person at the station about a civil matter regarding hired auto repair.
10:35 p.m.-A verbal domestic disturbance was investigated in the 800 block of Sherman Street. One of the parties involved left for the evening.
10:58 p.m.-Officers checked a complaint about a barking dog in the area of Prospect Street and East Oakwood Avenue.

12:00 a.m.-Officers assisted a resident in the 800 block of Clay Street in removing an opossum from her bathroom. Officer Adam Cramer helped capture the opossum and it was released.
12:52 a.m.-Officers spoke to a Bucyrus resident at the police department about her unruly juvenile.
12:54 a.m.-A false alarm at Bucyrus Public Library was investigated. There was no issue there and was believed to be set off by a phone and internet issue throughout the city.
1:38 a.m.-A barking dog complaint was investigated in the 1700 block of Marion Road. The owner received a verbal warning and took the dog inside.
3:07 a.m.-An officer delivered a message to the 700 block of Gay Street.
