BUCYRUS―A possible theft from a vehicle on Thursday evening turned out to be an innocent mistake.
Bucyrus Police officers were called to the 300 block of West Warren Street in regards to a person attempting to break into a vehicle at 6:36 p.m. Officers discovered a person was attempting to unlock their vehicle after having locked their keys inside.

1:14 p.m.-A report of the theft of utilities in the 400 block of West Warren Street was taken.
1:28 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of the theft of cash in the 200 block of West Galen Street.
1:55 p.m.-Officers conducted a civil standby in the 600 block of Kaler Avenue.
2:16 p.m.-Officers spoke to a child at the police department about his behavior.
2:54 p.m.-Officers conducted a civil standby in the 600 block of Kaler Avenue.
3:23 p.m.-Officers picked up items in the area of Bland Avenue.
3:57 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street.
4:08 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person at the station about vandalism to a vehicle.
4:24 p.m.-A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Whetstone Street and Hopley Avenue for their manner of driving.
7:11 p.m.- A vehicle alarm was investigated in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street.
7:40 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 700 block of South Walnut Street.
8:03 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the area of Woodbine Apartments.
9:27 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the area of Rogers and Charlotte Streets.
10:03 p.m.-Officers assisted a motorist in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue.
11:38 p.m.-A report of suspicious activity was investigated in the 600 block of West Perry Street.
