BUCYRUS― The Bucyrus Police Department released information on Friday with their daily police report regarding two groups that can help residents in need during this trying time.

The Outreach Center of New Day Ministries, 133 N. Sandusky Ave., the largest food pantry in northwest Ohio, is serving those in need by appointment. Call 419-617-7423 to schedule an appointment.

If anyone is isolated, cannot go out and needs food delivered, call Operation HOPE at 419-689-6428.

9:33 a.m.-Officers spoke with a salon owner about ceasing operations until the state sanctions are lifted.

9:57 a.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the 100 block of Hill Street for a report of a suicide threat. A person involved was receiving care.

10:40 a.m.-A domestic problem in the 500 block of Prospect Street was investigated. The folks involved advised it was just an argument, no assaults.

1:45 p.m.-A report of vandalism to a yard in the 1200 block of Hopley Avenue was received and remains under investigation. A vehicle owner was called about their driving through a yard and leaving ruts.

2:34 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic situation in City Lot #3. Verbal dispute, no assaults or threats and kids were on board with a parent.

3:54 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic situation in the 700 block of Ann Street. It was a verbal dispute and one half wanted property from the apartment.

5:25 p.m.-Officers investigated a property damage accident in the 900 block of Earl Street. The owner of an Acura advised his car was struck while sitting in a drive. There were no injuries and the was minor damage to the bumper of the Acura. Both parties exchanged information.

8:13 p.m.-A fight in the 200 block of Emerson Street was investigated. It was a verbal dispute and the trouble makers left in a gray over blue Nissan.

8:22 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person regarding a civil situation in the 300 block of Sheckler Street.

9:12 p.m.-Officers assisted the Adult Probation Department in the 500 block of Garnet Court.

10:03 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person regarding lost property in the Pinewood Court area. There was not a break-in or theft. The phone owner located the phone by tracking it using an app and it was lying in the road.

10:55 p.m.-Officers assisted Adult Probation Department in the 300 block of South East Street.

12:42 a.m.-A person in the 1700 block of Marion Road reported being assaulted. They did not want to pursue charges but wanted their property returned and was waiting on a ride.

6:59 a.m.-An officer was called to check on a motorist stopped in the road in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue. The motorist fell asleep while the train was passing.
