7:26 a.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a woman in the Prospect Street and Hopley Avenue area. She was out walking because it had finally stopped raining.

8:54 a.m.-A report of a stolen bicycle from the 500 block of East Mansfield Street was taken.

9:48 a.m.-Officers picked up a red abandoned bicycle in the 100 block of East Warren Street.

10:32 a.m.-Officers spoke to a man at the police department about a civil issue.

10:45 a.m.-Officers spoke to a person on East Rensselaer Street about a domestic situation.

10:51 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of vandalism in the 1100 block of Ohio Drive. An unknown party damaged a mailbox.

2:35 p.m.- A domestic dispute was reported in the 200 block of South Lane Street. The people had left the area and were soon after located in the 100 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

2:48 p.m.- A domestic dispute was reported in the 200 block of South Sandusky Avenue. The people had separated and walked to different destinations.

3:15 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue. A person from an overdose the prior day was causing a disturbance in the waiting room.

3:21 p.m.- Officers assisted a person experiencing mental problems. The person was taken by EMS personnel to Bucyrus Community Hospital for a suicide attempt with pills.

4:30 p.m.- Officers investigated an accident at East Rensselaer and Walnut Streets. It was a minor injury accident with occupants of both vehicles taken by EMS personnel to Bucyrus Community Hospital. Both vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene. A citation was issued to one of the drivers for failure to yield when turning left.

5:19 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the area of Wiley and Charles Streets. People from two vehicles had a brief verbal dispute and left the area.

5:26 p.m.- Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 100 block of Wallace Avenue. A person had started a fire in the garage, burning the clothing of an ex-girlfriend and then fled the scene. Jonathan Alsept is wanted for active warrants out of Richland County.

6:13 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of East Lucas Street.

6:26 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 700 block of Beverly Drive. It was a domestic argument and a door was damaged.

6:31 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 1300 block of Woodlawn Avenue. An eight-foot utility trailer was reported stolen.

9:07 p.m.- A traffic complaint was investigated in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

9:20 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Walmart 1875 East Mansfield Street. Heidi Sandlin, 34, and Jeremiah Waldbauer, 23, were arrested on charges of theft.  EMS personnel responded as a precaution as the Waldbauer reported a seizure coming on from the stress. It was a false alarm and he was taken into custody.

9:43 p.m.- A report of a possible impaired driver was made in the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

11:58 p.m.-Officers conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of East Liberty Street. A domestic issue was mediated.

12:23 a.m.-A traffic stop was made and a warning issued at West Southern Avenue and South Spring Street. George Awbrey, 60, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

1:31 a.m.-Officers assisted a female on Wingert Street with her intoxicated friend.

1:36 a.m.-Officers responded to an accident in the area of Charles Street and South Sandusky Avenue. A citation was issued and a vehicle was towed from the scene.

1:46 a.m.-A report of a group of suspicious teenagers in the West Mary Street area was unfounded.

4:02 a.m.-Officers assisted the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office in the South Walnut Street area in attempting to locate a vehicle from a hit-skip crash. OCSO located the truck they wanted.

8:51 a.m.-Officers assisted ODOT in locating the owner of an abandoned vehicle at Plymouth and Maple Streets.

12:36 p.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 100 block of Wayne Avenue.

1:06 p.m.-Officers disposed of a rabbit that was struck by a vehicle in the 400 block of North Walnut Street.

1:14 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a woman sleeping in a vehicle in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue. She was waiting for someone to finish their shift at a nearby workplace.

1:36 p.m.-A medium-sized brindle boxer dog was reported running loose in the 1300 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

3:51 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the Hardee’s lobby was investigated.

4:13 p.m.-Officers checked on a person lying in the grass in the area of Catherine and Warren Streets. The person advised he was just resting and resumed walking his bike home.

4:22 p.m.-A resident in the 700 block of Beverly Drive reported damage to his vehicle while parked at the residence. EMS personnel responded to the area for a person experiencing chest pains during this incident.

4:24 p.m.-A verbal warning for loud music was issued in the area of East Southern Avenue and South East Street.

6:25 p.m.-A disturbance in the 600 block of Prospect Street was unfounded.

9:06 p.m.-A report of possible gunshots in the area of Tiffin and River Streets was unfounded.

9:12 p.m.-Officers spoke with a mother and son at the police department about a domestic issue.

9:16 p.m.-A report of a man with a bat in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street turned out to be someone in costume on their way to a Halloween party.

9:25 p.m.-A resident in the 100 block of Heritage Circle reported someone knocking on doors in the area and running away.

9:47 p.m.-Casey Gibson, 24, was arrested in the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street on a Crawford County warrant.  He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

9:52 p.m.-A loud music complaint in the area of East Southern Avenue and South East Street was investigated.

12:34 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 300 block of East Warren Street.

1:13 a.m.-Officers mediated a domestic issue at Bucyrus Estates.

5:49 a.m.-Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 500 block of South East Street.

6:14 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue at the report of a driver with a medical issue crashing. There was not a crash and friends came to pick up the man’s vehicle.

7:17 a.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a man in the 700 block of West Perry Street. He overslept for work.

7:56 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of two people that overdosed in the 100 block of Wallace Avenue.  It was a man and woman and both were non-fatal. They were taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment.  Both were arrested on warrants.

12:12 p.m.-Officers attempted to do a welfare check on a woman in the 700 block of West Warren Street. Contact was not made.

12:38 p.m.-Officers responded to a report of a disturbance with a person having an emotional episode. Officers conducted a civil standby in the Bucyrus Plaza area when the person calmed down, gathered their property and left the area.

1:04 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a breaking and entering in the 200 block of Emerson Street.

2:21 p.m.-Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 300 block of East Charles Street.

2:50 p.m.-A report of a barking dog in the area of Rikki Lee Lane was investigated.

3:46 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 300 block of East Charles Street was a civil standby for one of the parties to gather property.

6:02 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 300 block of East Charles Street was mediated.

7:35 p.m.-A Waterford Glen couple reported that they each had assaulted their spouse and Adam Heckert, 29, and Cosetta Heckert, 32, were both arrested on charges of domestic violence. They were both taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

5:15 a.m.-Kyle Myers, 19, was arrested in the 300 block of Songer Avenue on a Crawford County warrant and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held on the warrant.
