12:13 p.m.-Officers checked on an elderly female in the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue who seemed confused.  A family member picked her up.

12:26 p.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 900 block of Reid Street.

1:00 p.m.-A domestic problem in the 200 block of Hayes Avenue was mediated.

1:34 p.m.-Officers assisted Humane Society personnel in the 500 block of Failor Avenue.

1:48 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 200 block of West Rensselaer Street.

2:00 p.m.-Officers made a civil standby in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

2:02 p.m.-The Bucyrus Police K-9 Officer assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the 100 block of East Lucas Street and suspected methamphetamine was recovered.

2:19 p.m.-A resident came to the station to make a report of possible identity theft.

2:45 p.m.-Officers met with a person at the police department about a civil custody issue.

2:51 p.m.-Officers met with a person at the police department about a civil custody issue.

2:56 p.m.-A report of possible abuse was received and remains under investigation.

3:10 p.m.-A parking complaint in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.

3:11 p.m.-Officers assisted a school bus at a blocked railroad crossing.

4:06 p.m.-Officers attempted to check the welfare of a person from out of the area who was supposed to be at Sunoco and sending messages threatening harm to himself. No one matching his description was located.

4:58 p.m.-A hang up 9-1-1 call from the 400 block of East Charles Street was investigated. There was no emergency.

9:13 p.m.-Officers checked on a vehicle broken down in the 600 block of Whetstone Street. The car overheated and the owner walked to Walmart to get what they needed to cool the engine.

9:26 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle by the railroad tracks on Whetstone Street. It was a temporarily disabled vehicle.

9:39 p.m.-A disturbance between landlord and tenants in the 500 block of South Spring Street was investigated.

10:35 p.m.-A barking dog complaint from the 800 block of Faustina Avenue was investigated and the owner was contacted and quieted the dogs.

11:20 p.m.-A traffic citation was issued in the area of East Mary and Lane Streets for expired operator’s license.

11:55 p.m.-Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the 1800 block of North Sandusky Avenue. The vehicle required a tow truck.
