9:31 a.m.-A report of a vehicle driving off without paying for fuel from the Kroger Fuel Station was reported.  The vehicle was later located and payment was made.

10:48 a.m.-Motorists were verbally warned regarding going around the downed crossing gates on Whetstone Street.

11:10 a.m.-An employee of Ehrhart’s reported a theft from the business.

11:11 a.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Job and Family Services personnel in the 1700 block of Marion Road and a welfare check was made.

2:48 p.m.-A private property accident was investigated in the 100 block of Hill Street.

3:24 p.m.-A junk vehicle notice was served in the 300 block of Wallace Avenue.

3:54 p.m.-Officers removed debris from the roadway in the area of Marion Road and Southern Avenue.

4:57 p.m.-A private property accident was investigated in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

5:52 p.m.- A report of a person dumping trash on private property was investigated in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street.

6:53 p.m.- Officers delivered a message for the Riverside Police Department to a local vehicle owner about their vehicle being in a hit-skip crash.

7:34 p.m.- An assault report was taken at Harmon Park.

8:22 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Kaler Avenue was investigated.

8:24 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 100 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

8:38 p.m.- Officers assisted a person experiencing mental problems.

8:56 p.m.-A report of a possible burglary in progress in the 100 block of Wiley Street was investigated and the building was found secure.

10:14 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 200 block of Dudley Street.

10:45 p.m.-A report of a barking dog in the 800 block of Prospect Street was investigated.

11:22 p.m.-A report of disorderly juveniles in Walmart was investigated. A male attempting to purchase alcohol was causing a disturbance and they were made to vacate the store.

1:07 a.m.-A traffic stop was made in the 900 block of North Sandusky Avenue. Nathan Queener, 26, was arrested for possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released with a court date.

2:07 a.m.-Officers assisted a Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputy in the area of Hopley Avenue and Rogers Street.

3:35 a.m.-A report of an intoxicated male walking in the 1600 block of East Southern Avenue was unfounded.

3:58 a.m.-Officers assisted a resident with an unwanted male in the East Southern Avenue area.

9:09 a.m.-Officers picked up a baggie of medication that was found in the 500 block of Rogers Street.

10:01 a.m.-A report of stolen logs in the 800 block of Hopley Avenue was taken.

11:51 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a possible trespassing violation in the 400 block of Charlotte Street.

12:00 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street was investigated.

12:22 p.m.-A parking complaint was reported on Washington Square. The vehicle was gone prior to officer’s arrival.

12:38 p.m.-A motorist was issued a citation for driving under suspension on East Mansfield Street at Walnut Street.

2:00 p.m.-A report of a sewer cap dislodged in the 900 block of Marion Road was investigated.

2:07 p.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Harper Avenue was investigated.

2:40 p.m.-A private property accident was investigated at Walmart.

2:41 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a woman on Ridge Avenue and a message was delivered.

3:27 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Cherry Lane was investigated.

3:59 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of South Spring Street and Oakwood Avenue was investigated.

4:22 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 500 block of East Rensselaer Street was investigated.

4:56 p.m.-A two-vehicle accident in the 900 block of Hull Avenue was investigated.

5:02 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 800 block of Earl Street. An individual was transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital for assistance.

5:45 p.m.-Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of South East Street with two occupants who appeared unconscious. Zachary Newmeyer,25, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana.  Aaron Mitchell, 20, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence and a probation violation. They were both issued their paperwork and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.

5:52 p.m.-A 16-year-old Bucyrus boy was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. He was released to a parent pending charges through juvenile court.

6:03 p.m.-A resident in the 100 block of Hall Street reported damage to two trailers parked on his property.

7:31 p.m.-A report of suspicious people walking between houses in the area of Hopley Avenue and Aurora Street was investigated.

7:58 p.m.-A report of people going into an abandoned house on Charlotte Street was investigated.

8:33 p.m.-An officer responded to the Bucyrus Community Hospital about a dog bite victim.

9:01 p.m.-A Bucyrus resident reported being bitten by a dog while in the area of Wallace Avenue.

9:12 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a person walking on Marion Road.

9:45 p.m.-A report of an unwanted male at a residence in the Waterford Glen area was investigated. The man was intoxicated and given a ride out of the area by an acquaintance.

9:54 p.m.-Officers spoke to a female at the station regarding custody issue.

10:17 p.m.-A report of a possibly disabled train in the Hopley Avenue area was investigated. The train only stopped momentarily and it resumed travelling.

10:58 p.m.-A report of loud music in the Kaler Avenue area was investigated.

5:07 a.m.-A report of suspicious people in the 500 block of Park Avenue was investigated.

6:32 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS in the 300 block of Iron Street.

6:44 a.m.-A report of a suspicious male in the area of South Spring and West Warren Streets was investigated.

8:27 a.m.-Officers spoke to a couple having a verbal argument in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue.

10:25 a.m.-A report of two small children unattended in the 500 block of Whetstone Street was investigated.

12:48 p.m.-Officers located the owners of a dog that was running loose in the 500 block of South Poplar Street.

12:56 p.m.-A disturbance at Aumiller Park was investigated.

12:58 p.m.-A verbal domestic dispute in the 100 block of Emerson Street was investigated.

3:10 p.m.-A parking complaint in the 1000 block of High Street was investigated.

5:28 p.m.-A report of an open building on Hopley Avenue was investigated.

6:40 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of Marion Road was investigated. A couple was having a loud verbal dispute while walking, arguing about how their vehicle ran out of gas and who was going to walk to get fuel.

10:09 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle at Oakwood Cemetery was investigated.

11:54 p.m.-Officer responded to a noise complaint in the 500 block of South Spring Street involving a resident who was mowing. The resident was warned and will mow in the daytime.

12:27 a.m.-Officers responded to the rear of Dollar General, 933 Hopley Ave. A woman had gotten into the dumpster and could not get out. Bucyrus Fire Department and EMS responded and she was rescued with a ladder. Dawn Bader, 48, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was issued a court date for May 15 and released.

3:44 a.m.-A Monnett Street resident reported someone knocking on the windows of her home. Officers checked around the residence and did not locate anyone.
