7:34 a.m.-Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 1000 East Warren Street A toaster had caught on fire at a residence. Everyone was safe and the was mostly smoke damage.
8:27 a.m.-Officers towed a vehicle from the 500 block of West Mary Street for a 48-hour parking violation.
8:35 a.m.-Officers investigated a 911 hang-up call in the 1700 block of Marion Road.
8:38 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a burglary in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.
10:07 a.m.-A report of a suspicious woman in the 200 block of Norton Way was investigated. The person was issued a court date for an income tax warrant.
11:16 a.m.-Officers investigated a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 400 block of Sears Street. One car backed into another.
12:30 p.m.-A report of a missing 79-year-old Bucyrus man was taken. He did return home later in the evening.
12:53 p.m.-Officers spoke to children in the 1700 block of Marion Road about 911 hang up calls.
1:42 p.m.-A private property accident report was taken in the Walmart parking lot.
1:49 p.m.-Officers are investigating a report of fraudulent checks in the 100 block of South Sandusky Avenue.
3:21 p.m.- A vandalism report was taken in the 700 block of Sunset Drive.
3:39 p.m.-Officers spoke to a person experiencing mental problems.
4:15 p.m.- A private property accident was reported in the 600 block of Woodlawn Av.
4:31 p.m.- A burglary report was taken in the 900 block of East Rensselaer Street.
5:03 p.m.-A report of a shoplifting was taken in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street.
5:27 p.m.- A two-vehicle, non-injury crash between a Chevy Cruze and green Kia was reported in the 1600 block of Marion Road. One of the motorists was issued a citation.
6:20 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 1000 block of East Beal Avenue.
6:44 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 700 block of Sunset Drive.
6:52 p.m.- Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office delivering a message.
9:45 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 300 block of East Warren Street.
10:13 p.m.- Officers assisted Life Support in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue. An intoxicated man had fallen and was taken to the hospital.
11:02 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 700 block of South East Street was investigated. One of the involved parties left the area.
11:26 p.m.-A loud music complaint in the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street was investigated.
11:53 p.m.-Officers assisted a State Trooper on a traffic stop in the area of State Route 4.

12:05 a.m.-Officers checked on a report of kids playing basketball in the street on Monnett Street. They had left the area before officers arrived.
2:09 a.m.-A disturbance in the 200 block of Gaius Street was investigated.
2:19 a.m.-Officers checked on a suspicious male in the Walmart parking lot. The man was napping.
3:34 a.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.
5:12 a.m.-A report of a suspicious male going through residents’ yards in the 700 block of Earl Street was investigated.
