8:49 a.m.-A motorist was warned for no muffler on Beal Avenue.

9:42 a.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the area of East Oakwood Avenue and Rogers Street.

10:01 a.m.-A report of a gas drive-off from the Kroger Fuel Center was investigated.  The person came back and paid for their gas.

10:03 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street was investigated.

10:52 a.m.-A Bucyrus Plaza resident reported his tire slashed overnight.

1:34 p.m.-A report of a vehicle tailgating another vehicle on Hopley Avenue was investigated.

1:59 p.m.-Officers assisted Children’s Services in the 600 block of South Walnut Street.

2:10 p.m.-A person came to the station to speak with an officer.

2:15 p.m.-Two income tax summons were served at the station.

2:44 p.m.- Officers investigated a theft complaint at WalMart. The person was located in the 500 block of Failor Avenue and Edward Puryear, 32, was arrested on charges of theft. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

5:52 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of West Warren Street.

6:29 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 400 block of West Warren Street.

7:07 p.m.- A report of a parking complaint was investigated at Outhwaite Reservoir.

7:10 p.m.- A report of a dog running at large was investigated in the 500 block of Kaler Avenue.

8;20 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 100 block of North Spring Street. A driver in an alley drove into landscaping and the matter will be handled between the parties involved.

8:37 p.m.- Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at WalMart. Lindsey Scott, 18, was arrested in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street on theft charges. She was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

8:48 p.m.- A traffic complaint was investigated in the area of Waterford Glen.

9:00 p.m.- Officers investigated a domestic dispute and Dustin Bargar, 26, was arrested in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue on charges of domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

20:38 p.m.-A report of juveniles chasing vehicles in the 500 block of East Rensselaer Street was investigated.

10:50 p.m.-A report of a breaking and entering in the 300 block of East Charles Street was investigated. It was a landlord-tenant dispute about an eviction notice.

12:17 a.m.-A traffic warning issued in the 200 block of Whetstone Street.

12:31 a.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 600 block of Whetstone Street.

1:56 a.m.-Officers conducted a walkthrough at the Horseshoe Bar per their request.

2:13 a.m.-Officers conducted a walkthrough at the Crazy Fox per their request.

2:33 a.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in City Lot #3.

4:02 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street was investigated.

4:33 a.m.-Officers checked for a prowler reported in the 200 block of North Lane Street.

11:50 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a domestic dispute in the 500 block of Prospect Street.

12:17 p.m.-A motorist was given a verbal warning for expired tags in the Wayne Avenue and East Mansfield Street area.

12:31 p.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 1200 block of Wheeler Street was checked out.

1:19 p.m.-Officers checked the 300 block of Lawn Avenue for a missing juvenile out of Ontario.

2:14 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS in the 800 block of South Walnut Street.

2:31 p.m.-A report of people swimming in Outhwaite Reservoir was investigated. The people with a kayak were notified that swimming is prohibited in the reservoir.

3:33 p.m.- A report of a suspicious male was made in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

4:39 p.m.- Steven Young, 20, was arrested in the 500 block of South Spring Street on a Crawford County warrant after officers were requested for a civil standby at the residence. He was issued a court date to appear and released.

4:56 p.m.- A report of a juvenile riding a dirt bike on the sidewalk was reported in the area of South East Street and East Southern Avenue.

5:18 p.m.- Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint and a 15-year-old Bucyrus boy was arrested in the 200 block of East Irving Street on a charge of domestic violence. The people involved were treated at Bucyrus Hospital. The juvenile was taken to Seneca County Juvenile Detention pending a hearing in Juvenile Court.

5:39 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the 900 block of Elm Street.

5:49 p.m.- A disturbance was reported at the police department.

6:19p p.m.- An animal complaint was investigated in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street.

7:28 p.m.- A traffic complaint of a possibly impaired driver on Ohio 96 was relayed by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle was located and the matter was investigated in the 1100 block of East Mansfield Street. The driver was not impaired.

8:21 p.m.- A report of damage to a vehicle was taken at the police department.

8:31 p.m.- A traffic complaint was taken in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue.

8:34 p.m.- Officers and Portsmouth Ambulance Service personnel responded in the 400 block of North Walnut Street to the scene of a natural death.

8:45 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Norton Way.

8:50 p.m.- A trailer was reported stolen from the 200 block of Whetstone Street.

9:20 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 1100 block of Victoria Drive.

9:32 p.m.- Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance Service personnel in the 200 block of West Rensselaer Street.

9:56 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 500 block of South Spring Street and it was a domestic issue.

2:19 a.m.-A report of two suspicious people in the 800 block of Clay Street was investigated.

2:46 a.m.-Trooper of the Ohio State Patrol requested assistance in locating a possibly intoxicated driver headed to Bucyrus in the South Sandusky Avenue area. The vehicle was located and the driver found to be sober. The driver was out in the open country and momentarily forgot they weren’t driving in their home country where they drive on the opposite side.

3:00 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 800 block of Clay Street was investigated.

4:02 a.m.-A report of people being loud in the 600 block of East Warren Street was investigated.

8:01 a.m.-Officers delivered a message in the 300 block of Wiley Street.

8:44 a.m.-Lloyd Weaver, 31, was arrested on a probation violation and Alyssa Williams, 30, on a warrant in the 300 block of East Charles Street after a report of an overdose at that location. Weaver is being held at the Crawford County Justice Center and Williams was issued a court date.

10:03 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 800 block of Beverly Drive.

10:39 a.m.-An escort was provided in the 700 block of Tiffin Street.

11:10 a.m.-Officers stood by in the 700 block of South Spring Street for child custody exchange.

12:45 p.m.-Officers were sent to check the welfare of a woman in the 600 block of West Mary Street.

2:10 p.m.-Officers conducted a civil standby in the 500 block of South Spring Street.

2:24 p.m.-Officers conducted a civil standby in the 300 block of North Walnut Street.

3:18 p.m.-A traffic citation was issued in the area of Whetstone and East Warren Streets. The vehicle was towed and license plates secured for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

3:42 p.m.-A minor two-vehicle accident between a Honda CRV and Dodge Caliber was investigated in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

3:43 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 400 block of East Warren Street was investigated.

4:18 p.m.-A resident in the 200 block of East Oakwood Avenue reported her air conditioner stolen from the residence.

5:25 p.m.-A disturbance in the 800 block of Clay Street was investigated.

5:31 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a person at Outhwaite Reservoir.

7:48 p.m.-Officers assisted the Crestline Police Department in attempting to locate a person wanted for a protection order violation. Shannon Jackson, 29, was arrested in the 200 block of Hayes Avenue on a Crawford County warrant and charges out of Crestline. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

8:10 p.m.-Two juveniles around the Bucyrus Public Library reported being followed by a drone. The drone was no longer flying in the area.

8:34 p.m.-Officers assisted a motorist whose vehicle had run out of gas in the area of East Mary and North Walnut Streets.

9:37 p.m.-Officers checked the 1000 block of Wingert Street after a resident reported fireworks in the area.

11:21 p.m.-Officers assisted a motorist who was out of gas in the East Mary Street area.

1:25 a.m.-A report of a barking dog in the West Charles Street area was investigated.

3:44 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 800 block of South Walnut Street.

4:34 a.m.-A report of a theft in the Clinton Street area is under investigation.

5:15 a.m.-An alarm in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

5:51 a.m.-A report of a dog that may have been in distress in on East Street was investigated. No dog was located.
