BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police investigated a breaking and entering of a downtown business early Monday morning.

Officers responded to the burglar alarm at Bucyrus Preferred Wireless in the 500 block of North Sandusky Avenue at 2:14 a.m. A window had been broken to gain access to the store and electronic devices were stolen.

The incident remains under investigation.

7:20 a.m.-A disturbance in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated. A possible gunshot was believed to be heard in the area but no incident was located.

9:07 a.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 700 block of High Street.

9:25 a.m.-A person came to the station to speak with an officer regarding an unruly juvenile.

11:44 a.m.-A North Poplar Street resident reported vandalism of a broken window of his vehicle.

12:23 p.m.-Officers assisted with a juvenile complaint in the 900 block of West Perry Street.

2:24 p.m.-Officers mediated a domestic problem in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

4:24 p.m.- Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint and Lisa Beachy, 48, was arrested in the 300 block of Hopley Avenue on a charge of domestic violence. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

7:23 p.m.- A report of a person trespassing in the 1700 block of Marion Road was investigated.

7:36 p.m.- A parking complaint was investigated in the 700 block of Prospect Street. A disabled vehicle had been pushed to the side of the road earlier and owners were going to move it.

11:24 p.m.-A resident at Bucyrus Plaza reported someone refusing to leave her property. The person had left the area before officers arrived.

11:47 p.m.-Officers assisted a sheriff’s deputy on a traffic stop in the area of North Spring and West Mary Streets.

12:08 a.m.-Officers attempted to check the welfare of a resident at Woodbine Apartments.

1:29 a.m.-A resident in the 800 block of Wilbur Street reported his phone stolen from the residence.

5:03 a.m.-Officers responded with EMS personnel to the area of Pinewood Apartments regarding a suicide attempt and a person was transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment.

10:03 a.m.-Officers spoke with a person at the station regarding possible forgery.

10:07 a.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 200 block of East Beal Avenue.

10:48 a.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street.

11:14 a.m.-A person came to the station to speak with an officer regarding threats.

11:55 a.m.-Officers investigated a shoplifting complaint in the 100 block of East Charles Street.

5:24  p.m.- Officers investigated a disturbance in the 400 block of Hopley Avenue.

5:26  p.m.-Officers spoke with a person at the station about possible identity theft.

6:35  p.m.-Officers spoke with a person at the station about a civil issue.

9:14 p.m.-Officers made a pickup in the 800 block of Faustina Avenue.

9:35 p.m.-A domestic disturbance was investigated in the 200 block of West Mary Street.

11:39 p.m.-Officers checked on a suspicious person in the 300 block of East Mansfield Street.

1:02 a.m.-A report of someone being assaulted in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.

4:48 a.m.-Derrick Saum, 27, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence and possession of marijuana.  He was issued his paperwork for court and released to a sober family member.

4:52 a.m.-A resident in the 1100 block of Teddy Avenue reported a suspicious person knocking on her door.

5:52 a.m.-A resident in the 200 block of West Mary Street reported a vehicle vandalized overnight.

5:53 a.m.-An employee of Hardee’s reported an intoxicated person causing a problem in the business.
