BUCYRUSꟷBucyrus Police investigated a report of an overdose Thursday at 8:37 p.m. in the 800 block of Wilbur Street.

Portsmouth Ambulance Service personnel was also at the scene and the person was taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment then arrested on a Crawford County Municipal Court probation violation.

7:24 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 700 block of Beverly Drive. No assaults or threats were reported and the issue was mediated.

8:22 a.m.-Officers delivered a message in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

12:09 p.m.-A male found an abandoned bike in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue and turned it into the police department.

12:23 p.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 500 block of Union Avenue.

12:49 p.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 800 block of South East Street. The vehicle was towed and a parking citation was issued.

1:41 p.m.-A report of loud music in the 400 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated.

2:51 p.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Juvenile Court personnel in the 500 block of Jones Street. A juvenile that had an active arrest warrant was taken into custody and transported to juvenile court for a hearing.

2:58 p.m.-A Bland Avenue resident reported unauthorized use of a vehicle. An ex-boyfriend was allowed to use the motorcycle but not leave Ohio with the motorcycle.

2:59 p.m.- A 911 open line call was investigated in the 1200 block of Ohio Drive. No incident was located.

4:36 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the area of Plum and Cleland Streets. A person was reportedly in a small red truck, honking a horn and lighting paper food bags and tossing them out of the truck. The same person in the red truck has been involved in several disturbances and was located a short time later parked near Suburban Lanes.

5:03 p.m.- Officers assisted the Water Department in the 1100 block of Hopley Avenue. An irate tenant was in a dispute with a landlord.

5:57 p.m.- A report of a car stuck in the mud at Aumiller Park was investigated. The people were able to get back on the road and on their way.

6:33 p.m.- Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 900 block of Whetstone Street. It was a 911 call unfounded.

6:44 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the area of Lawn Avenue and Maple Street. The operator of a red dirt bike was located in the 300 block of Lawn Avenue.

10:00 p.m.-A report of an audible alarm in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated. It was a malfunctioning light.

10:56 p.m.-A subject in the 100 block of East Mansfield Street reported being assaulted by someone she knows. The accused was located by a deputy near Job and Family Services and she went to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment.

11:12 p.m.-A Bucyrus resident reported being assaulted by people she knows while in the 600 block of East Oakwood Avenue. EMS personnel responded to treat the complainant and officers interviewed the accused.

11:17 p.m.-A report of an intoxicated female in the area of Jones Street and Woodlawn Avenue rolling around in the street was investigated.  Jessica Allison, 51, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

12:04 a.m.-A verbal domestic disturbance was investigated in the 400 block of North Walnut Street. One half of the domestic that was drunk and disruptive left for the night.

1:39 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of suspicious people sitting at the roadway in the 100 block of West Charles Street. The juveniles were out past curfew and returned to their guardians.

3:27 a.m.-A disturbance in the 100 block of Heritage Circle was investigated. It was a verbal domestic dispute and the people quieted down and went inside.
