BUCYRUSꟷBucyrus Police arrested one person on a probation violation after responding to the scene of a non-fatal overdose from heroin Tuesday night.

Officers were called to a residence in the 800 block of North Sandusky Avenue at 11:41 p.m. Tuesday and were assisted at the scene by EMS and Bucyrus Fire Department personnel.

The person was taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital by EMS personal for treatment then taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for a hearing on the municipal court probation violation.

7:44 a.m.-Officers investigated a 911 hang-up call in the 400 block of Heritage Circle. No incident was located.

10:02 a.m.-Officers attempted to assist with a vehicle lockout in the 1600 block of Hopley Avenue.

1:21 p.m.-Officer made a welfare check in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street and the person involved was given a court date for a Crawford County warrant.

1:54 p.m.-Officers spoke with a Short Street resident regarding a possible theft.

2:53 p.m.- A message was delivered in the 500 block of Gay Street.

5:57 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the 500 block of Gay Street.

6:56 p.m.- Officers investigated a fight in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue. A group of kids was involved and an officer met with parents. No injuries were reported.

7:11 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue. A homeless person was having a medical issue and EMS responded to provide care.

8:02 p.m.- A vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 500 block of East Charles Street. A call was received of about five kids fighting and arguing in the area and a mirror was broken off of a black Hyundai Elantra. Those involved left on foot and on bikes and the caller directed the officers to some juveniles that were involved.

9:50 p.m.-A juvenile complaint was investigated in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue. Kids were reportedly making a ruckus and hitting signs. Officers spoke with the kids on Wiley Street.

11:08 p.m.-Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Wallace Avenue to investigate unknown suspicious persons running through back yards.

12:10 a.m.-Officer investigated a disorderly person passed out from whiskey in the Farmers Bank lot in the 100 block of Washington Square. EMS personnel also responded and transported the person to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment.

12:47 a.m.-Officers were dispatched to a report of a female passed out near a vehicle in the 200 block of East Beal Avenue. EMS personnel responded and transported the person to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment. The Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) had an order to seize the plates and registration and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

6:14 a.m.-Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 1400 block of Woodlawn Avenue and no incident was discovered.

7:31 a.m.-Morrow County was contacted to check on a possible disturbance in their jurisdiction reported through social media.
