BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police investigated a crash in the 400 block of Sears Street at 7:48 a.m. on Thursday evening. According to the report, a motorist struck two parked cars with their vehicle and was issued a citation.

7:18 a.m.-A parking complaint in the 200 block of East Center Street was investigated.

7:49 a.m.-Officers assisted with traffic control on Washington Square while trucks had backed up due to US 30 closure for a crash.

11:12 a.m.-Officers spoke to a driver in the 1800 block of Hopley Avenue after a report he was driving at a high rate of speed in the county.

11:28 a.m.-Officers attempted to check an injured deer in the 500 block of Tiffin Street.

12:06 p.m.-Officers checked the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue after a report of a reckless driver in the area.

1:17 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a woman in the 800 block of South Poplar Street. A person had fallen and EMS personnel responded to take them to Bucyrus Community Hospital.

1:35 p.m.-Officers assisted a suicidal man with some counseling help at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

3:55 p.m.-Officers assisted Adult Probation authorities on Wilbur Streets and East Lucas Street.

2:34 p.m.-Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 200 block of Whetstone Street. It was a misdial from dropping the phone.

4:04 p.m.-Officers responded to a juvenile complaint about climbing in the wrong area at Lions Park.

4:23 p.m.-Officers searched the area of 500 Howard Avenue for an injured deer. The deer was moving fine.

4:24 p.m.-Officers responded to a juvenile complaint in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

7:07 p.m.-Officers searched the 700 block of East Oakwood Avenue after a report of people riding a go-kart in the street.

9:09 p.m.-A traffic warning was issued in the 200 block of East Mansfield Street.

9:11 p.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of Edgewood Drive. A person heard a voice in the area but no one was located.

10:00 p.m.-A resident in the 600 block of East Warren Street reported the exhaust stolen from his vehicle.

10:23 p.m.-Officers spoke with an unruly juvenile in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue. The person was a patient at the hospital and remained at the hospital.

10:57 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 600 block of South Walnut Street was investigated.

11:44 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the area of Rogers and Center Streets was investigated. It was the fire department on a call in the area.

1:44 a.m.-A resident in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street reported someone attempting to break into his residence.  It turned out it was someone he knew coming to visit.
