BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police officers assisted Portsmouth EMS personnel in the 200 block of North Walnut Street with an apparent overdose involving alcohol on Thursday evening.
At 7:44 p.m., officers responded to the call to find a person who had reportedly consumed too many ‘four loco’ beverages. The person was taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment.

8:51 a.m.-Officers checked the 400 block of East Mansfield Street after a report of a suspicious male pedestrian wearing a blue coat and blue jeans reportedly car prowling in the area.
12:51 p.m.-Officers assisted a person experiencing mental issues.
1:04 p.m.-Officers conducted a standby with the Crawford County Humane Society personnel in the 600 block of West Warren Street.
1:09 p.m.-A parking citation was issued in the 400 block of West Perry Street.
2:29 p.m.-Officers attempted a welfare check in the Waterford Glen area.
2:42 p.m.-Officers assisted Child Protective Services in the 200 block of Norton Way.
3:43 p.m.-Officers took a report of a hit-skip accident in the 100 block of East Lucas Street. A Hyundai Tucson was hit by a green car that left the area north on Sandusky Avenue. The green car left behind a mirror.
3:49 p.m.-A report of vandalism was taken in the 1300 block of Home Circle Drive. An unwelcome guest who is known to the complainant reportedly punched a resident then broke a window before leaving the area.
4:42 p.m.-A verbal traffic warning was issued in the Eloise and Whetstone Street area.
5:06 p.m.-A verbal traffic warning was issued for an equipment violation in the South Lane and East Charles Street area.
7:42 p.m.-A verbal traffic warning was issued regarding a stop sign violation in the South Walnut Street and East Oakwood Avenue area.
7:54 p.m.-Officers investigated a residential alarm in the 200 block of Gaius Street. It was a false alarm.
10:01 p.m.-A traffic stop was made and a traffic citation for driving under suspension was issued in the 1300 block of Home Circle Drive.

4:28 a.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a person in the 200 block of Wayne Avenue. A person locked out of a residence was napping in a car waiting for a keyholder.
