Bucyrus Police investigate accidents, arrest several over holiday weekend

9:54 a.m.-Officers investigated a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 800 block of East Mansfield Street.  One driver was issued a citation for improper passing and arrested on a warrant out of Crestline.  She was turned over to the Crestline Police Department.

11:47 a.m.-Officers checked Waterford Glen after a report of a suspicious person in the area.

1:02 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Beal Avenue.

2:32 p.m.-Officers spoke to a man at the police department about a civil issue.

3:01  p.m.-Officers conducted a golf cart inspection at the station.

3:45  p.m.-Officers spoke with a person about an ongoing investigation in the 800 block of High Street.

6:31  p.m.-Officers spoke with a person at the station about a previous report made.

9:03  p.m.-Officers investigated a juvenile complaint in the 300 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

10:25  p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 1300 block of South Walnut Street.

10:49 p.m.-Officers assisted a motorist in the area of Plymouth Street and North Sandusky Avenue.

11:30 p.m.-Adam Mahley, 38, was arrested for a warrant out of the Crawford County Sheriff’s office. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

12:01 a.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 600 block of South Spring Street.

12:31 a.m.-Officers assisted the Galion Police Department with trying to locate an individual in the 500 block of East Charles Street.

1:16 a.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the area of Hopley Avenue and Whetstone Street.

2:36 a.m.-A motorist was issued a citation for driving under suspension at Bucyrus Plaza.

2:54 a.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 400 block of Charlotte Street.

3:42 a.m.-A report of a disturbance was investigated in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

4:26 a.m.-A 17-year-old male was arrested for curfew violation at East Charles and South Lane Streets. He was turned over to family members pending a court appearance.

7:24 a.m.-Officers investigated a vehicle striking a power pole in the 1700 block of Marion Road. The driver was not injured, received a citation and the vehicle was towed from the scene. AEP was also contacted to repair the pole.

8:33 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of Garnet Court.

10:02 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

10:23 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 1600 block of East Mansfield Street after a vehicle went off the roadway due to the driver experiencing some medical issues.

12:04 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

1:45 p.m.-Daniel Earl, 69, was arrested in the area of Crossroads Boulevard and North Sandusky Avenue. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

2:30 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a fight in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street.

2:50 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 600 block of South Spring Street.

4:18 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of child abuse in the 1100 block of East Southern Avenue.

4:51  p.m.-A traffic citation was issued in the area of South Sandusky and Beal Avenues.

4:54 p.m.-A person came to the station to report a license plate taken from his vehicle.

5:15 p.m.-Officers conducted a civil standby in the 200 block of Wiley Street.

6:18 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street.

7:36 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street.

7:50 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 600 block of Earl Street.

8:01 p.m.-Officers took a report of a dog bite in the 400 block of West Warren Street.

11:59 a.m.-A complaint about visitation in the 200 block of Nauman Street was taken.

10:40 p.m.-Miles Walls, 20, Monroeville, was arrested for assault in the 500 block of Plymouth Street. He is being held pending a court appearance.

11:02 p.m.-Officers checked Auto and Penn Avenues after a complaint of fireworks in the area.

12:35 a.m.-Jonathan Alsept, 26, was arrested on a warrant out of Shelby after officers responded to a fight in the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue. He was also arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence and driving under suspension.  He was turned over to the Shelby Police Department.

1:39 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

2:04 a.m.-A report of loud music in the 200 block of South Poplar Street was checked on.

2:48 a.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

8:03 a.m.-Officers stood by for property in the 300 block of West Warren Street.

8:27 a.m.-Officers stood by for custody exchange in the Pinewood Court area.

9:44 a.m.-Officers spoke to the owner of a vehicle that ran into a fence in the 800 block of South Poplar Street.

10:22 a.m.-The dog warden was contacted about a vicious dog in the Reid and Fisher Streets area.

10:51 a.m.-Officers investigated a neighborhood disturbance in the 500 block of Prospect Street.

10:55 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a theft in the 800 block of West Mary Street.

11:17 a.m.-Officers did a welfare check on a woman in the 300 block of Clark Street.

11:30 a.m.-Officers contacted a vehicle owner for the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the 1400 block of Edgewood Drive.

11:52 a.m.-Officers spoke to a man in the 100 block of North Spring Street about some threats.

1:49  p.m.-Officers attempted to conduct a welfare check in the 400 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

2:06 p.m.-Shena Belcher, 33, was arrested in the area of South Spring and West Warren Streets for disorderly conduct, child endangerment, obstruction and possessing drug abuse instruments. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

2:35 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 400 block of North Poplar Street.

2:48 p.m.-Officers assisted a motorist in the 500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

3:53 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 800 block of West Mary Street.

6:07 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person about an animal complaint in the 200 block of Whetstone Street.

12:05 p.m.-Christopher Massey, 24, Bucyrus, was arrested for domestic violence in the 400 block of West Warren Street. He is being held pending a court appearance.

2:23 p.m.-Officers did a welfare check in the 1200 block of Sherwood Drive.

4:18 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of an employee stealing in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

10:01 p.m.-Daniel Ross, 69, was arrested in the 300 block of East Mansfield Street. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

10:18 p.m.-Officers assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with attempting to locate a person in the 1200 block of South Walnut Street.

11:22 p.m.-Officers attempted to serve a court summons in the 800 block of High Street.

11:40 p.m.-A man on a scooter was pulled over for not having any lights on the scooter in the area of South Walnut Street and East Southern Avenue.

11:41 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue.
