10:23 a.m.- Officers delivered a message for Bucyrus Community Hospital.

11:47 a.m.- A report of a stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of Elm Street. was unfounded. Permission had been given to work on the vehicle.

12:16 p.m.- Officers took an accident report in the intersection of Woodlawn Avenue and Whetstone Street.

1:09 p.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team EMS in the 100 block of South Sandusky Avenue. A motorist with a disabled vehicle had a momentary panic attack. Assistance was provided and she went on her way.

3:02 p.m.- A two-vehicle accident in the 900 block of West Perry Street was investigated. It was a collision between a gray minivan and a small sedan and a citation was issued.

3:44 p.m.- Officers checked on a suspicious male lying on the ground in the area of Spring and Mansfield Streets. The person resides in a nearby trailer and had slipped and fallen due to intoxication and he was assisted back to his trailer.

3:51 p.m.- A hit-skip accident in the 200 block of Norton Way was investigated.

3:54 p.m.- A Bucyrus resident came to the police department with information on a previous theft.

4:36 p.m.- Joseph Tatman, 35, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a court date and released.

5:01 p.m.- A resident in the 100 block of Penn Avenue, adjacent to McFarland Trailer Court, 1517 E. Mansfield St., reported someone driving through their fence and hitting their house. Michael Young was issued a citation for driving without a license and reckless operation.

5:39 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of domestic trouble at the McFarland Trailer Court, 1517 E. Mansfield St. Steven Young, 58, was arrested on a charge of violating a civil protection order. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

6:32 p.m.- Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 1200 block of Reid Street.

6:57 p.m.- A warning for trespassing was issued to an ex-spouse of a resident in the 1300 block of Willard Street.

7:46 p.m.- Officers responded to a traffic incident in the area of Marion Road and South Sandusky Avenue. Neither party needed a crash report. A traffic citation for driving under suspension was issued to one of the drivers. A citation for fictitious vehicle registration was also issued.

10:35 p.m.- A Bucyrus resident came to the police department to speak with an officer about threats she has received from someone she knows.

12:09 a.m.- Officers spoke to a citizen at the station about possible drug activity.

12:32 a.m.- Officer checked on a pedestrian in the area of East Rensselaer and South Lane Streets. Kaleb Russell, 18, was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released with a pending court appearance.

1:49 a.m.- A report of an abandoned bicycle in the 200 block of North Lane Street was investigated. It was a child’s riding toy that belonged at a nearby residence.

2:57 a.m.- A disturbance was investigated in City Lot 3. An intoxicated male followed an officer’s advice and called for a ride.

3:34 a.m.- A suspicious vehicle was investigated in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue. The driver was not feeling well.

10:59 a.m.- Officers assisted Life Support in the 100 block of North Highland Avenue.

3:21 p.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team EMS in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street where a patron had a medical issue.

5:02 p.m.- An animal complaint was made in the 100 block of West Mary Street about a barking dog.

5:19 p.m.- Officers checked on a water break in the 800 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

5:30 p.m.- Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department in the area of Hopley and Beal Avenues at the scene of a two-vehicle collision.

5:48 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the 900 block of Union Avenue regarding custody of a dog.

5:51 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the 400 block of Plymouth Street.

7:17 p.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team EMS in the 400 block of East Mansfield Street with a person having mental health issues and possible intoxication.

7:18 p.m.- Officers investigated a complaint of theft of a wallet. Shawn A. Smith was arrested in the area of Clark and Rensselaer Streets on charges of theft, disorderly conduct and obstructing justice. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for bond.

7:39 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Mansfield Street. An unwelcome person at the property left without further dispute.

8:20 p.m.- A Whetstone Street resident reported being assaulted by a person they know.

9:17 p.m.- A traffic stop was made on Wayne Avenue. Timothy Hyer, 51, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence. He was issued his citation for court and released to a sober adult.

9:38 p.m.-  A report of an assault was taken in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue. The complainant was not injured and declined to pursue the matter.

12:22 a.m.- A report of a fight in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street was investigated. The crowd dispersed.

7:03 a.m.- A report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Union Avenue was an unwelcome subject on another’s property. The alleged trespasser left the area without incident.

9:33 a.m.- A private property accident report was taken in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue. A motorist had scraped a pole in the Tim Horton’s lot.

9:56 a.m.- Officers responded to an active domestic violence incident and Ryan Miller, 22, and Shannon Burdine, 20, were both arrested in the 400 block of East Charles Street and charged with domestic violence. They were taken to the Crawford County Jail pending a court appearance.

11:15 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of an alarm in the south end of town. There was a power outage in the area of South Sandusky and Beal Avenues.

11:16 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of a domestic dispute in the 900 block of Wingert Street. One of the parties left the area to resolve the dispute.

2:01 p.m.- A motorist reported his vehicle bumped while at Ehrhart’s.

2:43 p.m.- Officers made a standby for a child exchange.

2:45 p.m.- Officers assisted the Galion Police Department in the Bucyrus Plaza area checking for a reported missing/runaway juvenile and she was not located.

7:25 p.m.- Officers responded to the area of Bucyrus Hospital for a domestic violence complaint. Timothy Ballenger, 45, was arrested in the 200 block of Blicke Street on charges of domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

12:16 a.m.- A disturbance at Bucyrus Plaza was caused by a former friend allegedly harassing the complainant.

3:40 a.m.- A domestic disturbance in the 400 block of West Warren Street resulted in a broken television. No assaults were claimed and one of the parties left.
