8:40 a.m.-Officers investigated a minor one-vehicle accident in the area of Whetstone Street and Southern Avenue involving a vehicle that slid into a fire hydrant. No injuries reported. The car was disabled and towed away.
9:32 a.m.-A domestic problem in the 1000 block of High Street was investigated. The situation was mediated.
11:29 a.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 300 block of Short Street. The situation was mediated.
12:05 p.m.-Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue. A person was arrested by troopers for operating a vehicle under the influence.
1:30 p.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 300 block of West Mansfield Street.
2:23 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the Heritage Circle area was investigated.
2:38 p.m.-A 911 Hang-up call from the 100 block of East Charles Street was investigated. All was ok.
2:57 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street. A juvenile was arrested for domestic violence.
3:48 p.m.- A private property accident was reported in the 200 block of East Mary Street.
5:35 p.m.- Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance in the 400 block of Emerson Street.
7:45 p.m.- A disturbance involving a harassing message was reported at the police department.
7:58 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the 1300 block of East Southern Avenue.
8:04 p.m.-A theft report was made in the 1000 block of Woodlawn Avenue.
8:44 p.m.-Officers assisted with an unruly juvenile in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street.
11:36 p.m.-Officers checked on people reported loitering in a vehicle by the laundromat on Lutz Drive near the 600 block of Wilber Street. Dakota Moore, 19, and Wesley Perdue, 20, were arrested for possession of marijuana. Both were issued minor misdemeanor citations and released with a court date.

12:38 a.m.-Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol in the area of Woodbine Apartments in delivering a message to a vehicle owner. One person was arrested by troopers.
3:59 a.m.-A report of a domestic issue in the 1500 block of Marion Road was investigated.
