8:48 a.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a woman in the 700 block of Beverly Drive.

10:39 a.m.-Officers assisted a female experiencing mental issues in the area of South Sandusky Avenue and Rensselaer Street. She was escorted to the hospital for care.

1:33 p.m.-A welfare check was made in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street.

3:14 p.m.- Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance in the 400 block of East Lucas Street.

3:26 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 1000 block of East Warren Street.

4:30 p.m.-A report of vandalism was taken in the 400 block of East Irving Street.

4:41 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 1600 block of Marion Road. The driver of a pickup truck was unhappy with a pedestrian near McDonald’s. The people had gone their separate ways.

4:45 p.m.-Report of a person being bitten by a dog was taken in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

4:54 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a warrant in the 100 block of West Charles Street.

5:34 p.m.- A report of a sex crime was made at the police department.

8:00 p.m.- A resident was warned about loud music in the 100 block of Williams Street.

8:16 p.m.- Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol on West Mansfield Street.

8:25 p.m.- Officers spoke to a person at the police department about a domestic issue.

9:00 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

10:19 p.m.- A report of a fight was investigated in the 500 block of Failor Street. Two adult men were arguing about a video game and one took a walk to calm down.

10:29 p.m.-Officers were able to assist a female and her granddaughter needing a place to stay.

11:04 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a vehicle striking a fire hydrant in the area of Reid Street and Highland Avenue.
