BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Bucyrus Police Department announced Officer Devin Wireman as the recipient of the prestigious Officer of the Year Award for 2025. The award was presented by Police Chief Jon Dorsey shortly before Tuesday’s city council meeting.

This recognition highlights Officer Wireman’s unwavering dedication, exceptional professionalism, and integrity throughout the past year in his law enforcement duties.

In addition to his individual accomplishments, Officer Wireman serves as a valued teammate and a role model within the department. Representing the K-9 unit, he actively participates in public demonstrations, school visits, and various community events, showcasing his dedication to educating and engaging the public.
