7:11 a.m.-Officers assisted a person experiencing mental issues in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

12:55 p.m.-A person came to the station to speak with an officer regarding a domestic situation. The person left the station before officers arrived.

2:25 p.m.-Property found in the 700 block of South Walnut Street was brought to the station. A message was left for the owner to pick it up.

2:34 p.m.-A report of a vehicle off the road on Ohio 4 North was unfounded.

3:00 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

3:35 p.m.- A report of harassing phone calls was made at the police department.

3:38 p.m.- A report of a possible scam was made at the police department.

3:51 p.m.- A hit-skip accident was investigated in the 400 block of East Southern Avenue.

3:53 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the 600 block of Wilbur Street.

4:29 p.m.- A report of two men with weapons possibly hunting at Outhwaite Reservoir. The men were gone upon officers’ arrival.

4:31 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

5:43 p.m.- Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint and Jesse Davis, 41, was arrested in the 1700 block of Marion Road on a charge of domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

6:43 p.m.- A report of a dog hit by a car was investigated in the area of South Sandusky and Wallace Avenues.

7:32 p.m.- One income tax summons was served in the 500 block of South Spring Street.

8:01 p.m.- One income tax summons was served in the 900 block of Whetstone Street.

8:18 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a summons.

8:21 p.m.- Several reports of people crawling over a stopped train on North Sandusky Avenue.

8:41 p.m.- A report of an underage person drinking was investigated.

9:46 p.m.- Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance personnel in the 400 block of North Walnut Street.

10:31 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS in the 500 block of Whetstone Street.

11:48 p.m.-An employee of Hardee’s reported receiving harassing phone calls.

12:04 a.m.-A disturbance in the 500 block of Failor Avenue was investigated.

4:34 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

6:47 a.m.-Officers spoke to a woman in the 1700 block of Marion Road about a possible theft.

7:11 a.m.-Officers checked the Whetstone and Warren Streets area for a suspicious man.

8:39 a.m.-Officers assisted a woman in the 1600 block of Marion Road who was experiencing mental issues.

9:01 a.m.-Officers are investigating a report of a theft from the 1600 block of Marion Road.

11:44 a.m.-Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint and Derek Mills, 32, was arrested for domestic violence from the 1600 block of Colonial Drive.

11:58 a.m.-Officers delivered a message in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

3:24 p.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle was made in the 400 block of East Charles Street. The parked car had been at the location 24 hours and both airbags were deployed. The owner was located in Upper Sandusky and reported striking a pole at about 10 mph on private property by Tim Hortons the previous day.

4:34 p.m.- A disturbance involving neighboring dogs was reported in the 400 block of Lawn Avenue.

5:37 p.m.- Officers warned man soliciting without a permit in the area of Cleland Avenue and Beverly Drive.

6:13 p.m.- Officers warned a person for soliciting without a permit in the 900 block of Elm Street.

6:22 p.m.- A traffic citation was issued in the area of East Mansfield and Lane Streets.

7:00 p.m.- Four income tax summons were served in the 300 block of West Rensselaer Street.

7:47 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve income tax summons.

11:19 p.m.-A report of a disorderly patron at Circle K, 400 block North Sandusky Avenue was investigated. He had left the area before officers arrived on scene.

1:17 a.m.-A report of possible gunshots in the Tiffin Street area was unfounded.

1:59 a.m.-Officers assisted a State Trooper in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

2:43 a.m.-Officers responded to the 100 block of West Mansfield Street for an individual that was disoriented. Gary R. Russell, 27, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

3:05 a.m.-A traffic citation was issued in the 100 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

3:56 a.m.-A report of a group of males vandalizing Christmas Decorations in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated and no tampering was discovered.

4:06 a.m.-Two female juveniles were arrested for curfew violation in the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

5:28 a.m.-A report of a male in a vehicle possibly using drugs in the area of East Warren Street and South Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

11:51 a.m.-Officers attempted to locate a man in the 100 block of Wallace Avenue.

12:47 p.m.-Officers spoke to a man at the police department about a scam involving the acquisition of gift cards for a third party at Walmart, 1875 E. Mansfield St.

1:28 p.m.-Officers spoke to a resident in the 400 block of Sheckler Street about their dog running loose. The owner took the dog inside.

4:06 p.m.-A traffic citation for driving under suspension was issued in the area of Maple and Plymouth Streets.

4:35 p.m.-A report of a fight in the area of Highland Avenue and East Mansfield Street was investigated. It was a verbal argument and no assaults or threats were reported. It started because of perceived rumors and accusations of lying.

4:58 p.m.-Officers responded with EMS personnel in the 900 block of East Mansfield Street for an unknown emergency.

5:05 p.m.-A cell phone was reported stolen from Pickwick Place last night. It was located in Ontario and returned to the owner.

8:05 p.m.-Officers responded with Crawford County Sheriff deputies and EMS to a non-injury, one-vehicle accident in the area of Ohio 4 and Krauter Road.

8:46 p.m.-A resident of Wedgewood Court reported receiving an internet scam, to which she had responded. She was provided with information for the credit reporting agencies and the social security fraud line.

9:08 p.m.-A person came to the police department to report being followed from Galion.

9:11 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of South Poplar Street was investigated.

9:13 p.m.-A disturbance in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street was a dispute about borrowing a car and not filling the tank.

10:21 p.m.-Kevin W. Davis, was arrested in the 900 block of Hull Avenue on an active warrant out of Crawford County. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

12:20 a.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance personnel in the 500 block of South Poplar Street.

4:29 a.m.-A disturbance in the 800 block of West Mary Street was unfounded.

7:16 a.m.-Officers investigated property damage caused by a resident in the 800 block of West Mary Street.
