As weekends go, the first full one in November was a relatively quiet one for the Bucyrus Police Department. Reports indicate a few minor arrests and summons served.

On Saturday evening, a 35-year-old woman was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct by intoxication. Later that same evening after midnight, 33-year-old Preston Ley and 34-year-old Cassandra Hessey were arrested for domestic violence. Both were taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until they appeared in court.

Fifty-four-year-old Karl Frizzell was also arrested for domestic violence in a separate incident.

Bucyrus police served a summons to appear on theft charges to 40-year-old Kevin Jaynes of Bucyrus. Jaynes was a passenger in a car that was stopped for a traffic violation.
