BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police were busy with calls due to high winds that began coming into the station at 5:20 a.m. on Monday. The high winds caused numerous alarms to activate and took down several trees and power lines throughout the city. No injuries were reported but property damage and power outages were reported.

7:59 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a possible break-in in the 1000 block of East Beal Avenue. The door was actually not closing properly.

9:26 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a fraudulent check passed in the 400 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

10:24 a.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Sheckler Street was investigated.

10:52 a.m.-Officers returned to the 300 block of Sheckler Street after another report of a disturbance.  The parties involved were warned of consequences if it continued.

12:05 p.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Ethel Street was investigated. It turned out to be a misunderstanding.

1:49 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance at Indian Creek.

2:16 p.m.-Officers returned to Indian Creek regarding another disturbance.

4:27 p.m.- A vandalism report was taken in the 200 block of East Charles Street.

4:30 p.m.-A parking complaint was made in the area of Inez and Reid Streets.

5:34 p.m.- A juvenile complaint was made in the area of South Lane and East Rensselaer Streets.

6:42  p.m.-A juvenile complaint was made in the area of South Walnut Street and Oakwood Avenue.

7:46  p.m.-A report of possible drug use was investigated.

7:56  p.m.-A report of an abandoned bike was made in the 200 block of East Mansfield Street.

7:57  p.m.-A report of a hit-skip accident was made in the 1300 block of East Mansfield Street.

9:05  p.m.-A verbal traffic warning was made in the area of South Sandusky Avenue and West Warren Street for a license plate light.

9:47  p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 800 block of Maple Street.

10:43  p.m.-A verbal warning was issued in the area of South Sandusky Avenue and Rensselaer Street for a license plate light.

11:29  p.m.-A disturbance was investigated in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

1:04  a.m.-A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of South Walnut and East Charles Streets for headlights.

1:27  a.m.-Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol with a traffic stop in the area of South East Street and East Southern Avenue.

3:01 a.m.-Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol with a traffic stop North Sandusky Avenue at Bland Avenue.

1:12 p.m.-A report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 200 block of Iron St. was investigated.

2:46 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of River Street.

4:09 p.m.- A parking complaint was investigated in the area of Crossroads Boulevard.

4:14 p.m.-Two summons for property maintenance violations were served in the 200 block of Schaber Avenue.

4:22 p.m.- One income tax summons was served in the 600 block of West Mary Street.

4:24 p.m.- A counterfeit bill was used in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

4:29 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a property maintenance summons in the 400 block of West Rensselaer Street.

4:41 p.m.-A theft report was taken at the police department.

4:46 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a property maintenance summons in the 200 block of Dudley Avenue.

6:10 p.m.- A two-vehicle accident report was taken in the 700 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

6:55 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Ethel Street.

7:31 p.m.- A two-vehicle accident was reported in the area of South Sandusky and Oakwood Avenues.

7:47 p.m.- One income tax summons was served in the 3000 block of Stetzer Road.

8:26 p.m.- A report of possible drug use was made in the 200 block of East Mary Street.

10:20 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

10:55 p.m.-A resident in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue reported receiving some threats over social media.

2:41 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the area of Waterford Glen.

3:46 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the area of Waterford Glen.

4:11 p.m.-Officers warned solicitors in the 1300 block of East Southern Avenue that did not have the proper permits.
