7:27 a.m.-Officers spoke to a man in the 1600 block of Marion Road about a civil issue.

9:52 a.m.-Officers assisted capturing a bat flying in a building in the 200 block of West Rensselaer Street.

10:31 a.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies in the Ohio 98 North area looking for people after a report of a woman jumping out of a vehicle in the area.  OSHP and Sheriff’s Deputies located all parties involved in the domestic dispute.

11:56 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS in the 500 block of Failor Avenue.

12:19 p.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies in the 800 block of East Mansfield Street with serving a warrant.

1:43 p.m.-A report of a reckless driver from Marion to Bucyrus was reported. The caller left the 1700 block of Whetstone prior to officers’ arrival.

1:58 p.m.-Officers picked up a speaker that was left in the 800 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

2:30 p.m.-A motorist was issued a citation for red light violation in the 500 block East Mansfield Street. The motorist ran a red light almost striking the police cruiser.

2:49 p.m.- Officers responded to a dispute involving two males and a female. One of the males involved was the victim of a dog bit caused by the other man’s dog. An ER nurse driving by stopped to assist and EMS personnel responded for the victim of the dog bite. The County Dog Warden also responded for the dog. Timothy Bucher, 51, was arrested in the 800 block of Clay Street on charges of felonious assault. He was taken to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

3:20 p.m.- A report of a person trespassing in the 800 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated.

3:39 p.m.- A traffic complaint was taken in the 600 block of Prospect Street.

3:59 p.m.-A private property accident was taken in the 1400 block of North Sandusky Avenue. A motorist backed into a pole at Cooper’s Market.

4:37 p.m.-A landlord-tenant dispute was investigated in the 1200 block of Teddy Avenue.

5:02 p.m.- A domestic dispute was reported in the 400 block of Wallace Avenue.

6:00 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the 800 block of Clay Street.

6:56 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

7:34 p.m.- Officers assisted a citizen in the 900 block of East Warren Street. They had a water pipe leak and needed the water department to shut off the water supply to the residence.

8:47 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle making threats in the 1700 block of Marion Rd. was investigated. The reported vehicle and occupants were later contacted by Shelby PD after a notice was issued. There are no charges stemming from the matter.

9:53 p.m.- A report of fireworks in the area of Waterford Glen was investigated.

9:58 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 600 block of East Oakwood Avenue.

2:20 a.m.-Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in city lot 3. The parked vehicle had been left with open doors.

2:31 a.m.- A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1600 block of Marion Road. The motorist had located a new Pokemon spot.

2:51 a.m.-Officers spoke with a person at Bucyrus Community Hospital about a possible drug issue.

2:56 a.m.-Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol at Mansfield and Poplar Streets.

5:49 a.m.-A disturbance in the area of Woodbine Apartments was a neighborhood dispute.

7:38 a.m.-A disturbance in the 300 block of Iron Street was investigated.

8:37 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 300 block of Iron Street.

10:05 a.m.-Officers completed a golf cart inspection at the station.

10:06 a.m.-A report of suspicious activity in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street was investigated.

10:12 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 300 block of Iron Street. The person went with EMS voluntarily.

1:16 p.m.-A Clinton Street resident reported vandalism to her home.

1:53 p.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 100 block of Wallace Avenue.

3:25 p.m.- A 2009 Kia Optima, black in color with no license plates was reported stolen from Crossroads Boulevard since June 30. The owner had left the vehicle parked there due to a broken control arm and the vehicle was not towed to the destination in Crestline they expected it to go. Whereabouts of the vehicle purchased at a buy here, pay here dealer is unknown.

3:52 p.m.- Officers responded to a civil protection order complaint and Patrick Schultz was arrested in the 200 block of East Irving Street on a charge of violation of a civil protection order. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

4:21 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the area of Mansfield and Spring Streets. A male was slumped over on a porch. EMS personnel responded and transported the 30-year-old male, who was highly intoxicated, to the hospital.

4:44 p.m.- A traffic complaint about a go-cart was made in the area of Earl Street and Cleland Avenue.

5:09 p.m.- Jamie Hall, 37, was arrested in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street on a Richland County warrant for drug charges. He was released to Richland County authorities.

5:51 p.m.- Officers responded to a walking and loud domestic argument near the intersection of Aurora and Prospect Streets. Tasia Myers, 32 and Brad Villars, 41, were arrested in the 500 block of Prospect Street on charges of disorderly conduct. They were issued criminal summonses and released with a court date.

5:57 p.m.- A report of a possible breaking and entering in the area of Iron and Rensselaer Streets was unfounded.

6:11 p.m.- A parking complaint was investigated in the 500 block of East Charles Street. The owner will move it.

6:55 p.m.- Officers investigated a reported family dispute and Brian Russell, 26, was arrested in the area of Pinewood Court on charges of domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice center to be held for court.

8:00 p.m.- A traffic complaint was investigated in the area of Irving and Plymouth Streets. A semi-tractor trailer grazed tree limbs. There was no apparent damage to the tree and scrapes on the right side of the trailer.

8:19 p.m.- A traffic complaint of four-wheelers trespassing was investigated in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue.

9:21 p.m.- A traffic citation was issued in the area of Highland and Woodlawn Avenues.

9:39 p.m.-A juvenile complaint was taken in the area of Norton Way and Lane Street. Officers met with the parent of four children.

10:06 p.m.- A report of suspected drug activity was made in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street.

10:45 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the 500 Block of Ridge Avenue. A local professional crooner and musician was practicing his craft.

10:47 p.m.-A reported loud explosion was investigated in the 200 block of East Mary Street. It was found to be fireworks.

11:09 p.m.-Officers took a report of vandalism in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue. Someone had put lawn chairs in the road and they were driven over.

11:18 p.m.-Officers assisted a tractor-trailer driver who had become stuck in the Prospect Street and East Southern Avenue area.

11:33: p.m.-A report of a suspicious person was investigated in the Failor and Wheeler Avenue area.

1:26 a.m.-Officers responded to a complaint of loud music in the 600 block of South Walnut Street. The resident was warned and turned the volume down.

9:16 a.m.-A motorist reported a bike taken from the vehicle bike rack while at UDF on S. Sandusky Ave.

9:26 a.m.-An abandoned bike was brought to the station.

10:59 a.m.-Officers checked on a report of someone burning in the 1300 block of Home Circle Drive.

1:08 p.m.-Officers took a minor accident report in the 900 block of Melody Lane after a motorist backed into a parked car.

2:18 p.m.-A minor traffic incident in the 900 block of Marion Road was investigated. A motorist drove over a curb and damaged the underside of their vehicle causing a fluid leak. Bucyrus Fire Department responded and the driver’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

2:52 p.m.-A report of a stolen cell phone was received.

3:01 p.m.- A report of a fight in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue was reported. The people had departed the area.

3:05 p.m.- A report of a domestic dispute was investigated in the 700 block of Earl Street.

3:40 p.m.-A traffic complaint was investigated in the area of North Sandusky Avenue and Irving Street.

4:07 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a summons.

4:13 p.m.- Officers served one income tax summons in the 1600 block of Colonial Drive.

4:17 p.m.- Officers served three tax summonses in the 200 block of Heritage Cr.

4:21 p.m.-Officers picked up found property in the 500 block of Failor Avenue. A fisherman hooked an old pistol and a veteran’s star while fishing the Sandusky River near Aumiller Park.

4:58 p.m.- A domestic dispute was reported at the police department related to unwelcome messages by the complainant’s former partner.

7:39 p.m.- A disturbance of noise by possible gunshots or fireworks was investigated in the area of Beal Avenue and Colonial Drive.

7:54 p.m.-Eight income tax summons were served in the 700 block of Prospect Street.

7:58 p.m.- A domestic dispute was reported in the 1300 block of East Southern Avenue. Officers are looking for the male involved for a probation violation.

8:29 p.m.-A theft report was made in the 300 block of Lawn Avenue. A juvenile was taking landscape wood away and burning it.

8:39 p.m.-Officers were looking for a person from a prior complaint and Anthony Barthalow, 28, was arrested in the 900 block of Wingert Street on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a court date to appear and released. He was also served with a summons for a property maintenance code violation.

9:47 p.m.-A report of barking dogs in the 800 block of South East Street was investigated.

10:51 p.m.-Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 1100 block of Sherwood Drive.

10:58 p.m.-A report of a male standing in the street yelling near Maplecrest Nursing Home on Rogers Street was investigated. He was in a dispute at a nearby residence.

1:29 a.m.-A report of a breaking and entering in the 400 block of Sheckler Street was investigated. It was an ongoing residency issue between the parties involved.

3:00 a.m.-A report of someone yelling in the 200 block of East Oakwood Avenue was investigated.
