7:20 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Outhwaite Reservoir parking lot.

7:43 a.m.-A resident came to the station to speak with an officer regarding neighborhood issues.

8:17 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 800 block of Kaler Avenue.

8:45 a.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Humane Society in the 300 block of River Street.

8:53 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street was unfounded.

10:21 a.m.-A report of possible child abuse was investigated.

12:19 p.m.-Officers investigated a minor accident in the area of Washington Square.

12:49 p.m.-A Clark Street resident reported her unlocked vehicle entered overnight and a medication bottle taken.

1:20 p.m.-A traffic report was investigated in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street.

1:37 p.m.-Officers made a civil standby in the 200 block of Blicke Street.

2:16 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person at the station regarding possible drug activity.

2:44 p.m.-Officers checked on a reported disturbance in the 200 block of Blicke Street. Timothy Ballenger, 46, was arrested on a probation violation and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

3:13 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 600 block of South Walnut Street was investigated.

4:46 p.m.-A Bucyrus resident came to the police department to report damage to her vehicle.

5:24 p.m.-A report of a young juvenile walking by herself in the area of Mansfield and Whetstone Streets was investigated.

5:36 p.m.-A report of a dog left alone in a vehicle at Kroger was investigated.

5:47 p.m.-A resident in the 1400 block of Woodlawn Avenue reported someone he knows trespassed on his property and took his dog.

5:52 p.m.-Officers attempted to serve a warrant in the 900 block of Whetstone Street.

6:35 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Winchester Avenue was investigated.

8:07 p.m.-A resident in the area of Spring and Mansfield Streets reported traffic issues in the area.

8:31 p.m.-A juvenile was observed in the 200 block of East Oakwood Avenue with tobacco products.  She was released to a grandparent pending possible charges through juvenile court.

9:01 p.m.-A resident in the 1000 block of South East Street reported his grandson was bitten by a loose dog running in the area.

9:21 p.m.-A Bucyrus resident requested a welfare check on a person who was sending concerning text messages. The person was contacted by phone and advised she was not in town and was fine.

9:43 p.m.-Officers responded, along with the Bucyrus Fire Department, to a school bus on fire in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

9:47 p.m.-A patient at Bucyrus Community Hospital reported being shot with an airsoft gun while playing in town.

9:54 p.m.-A report of a possible gunshot in the 400 block of Charlotte Street turned out to be a firework.

10:43 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 200 block of West Warren Street.

10:56 p.m.-A report of people yelling at Harmon Park was investigated.

12:25 a.m.-Officers on patrol investigated a suspicious male in Broadway Alley.

1:52 a.m.-A report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the 200 block of East Mary Street was investigated.

4:08 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person at Circle K was investigated and unfounded.
