BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police were called to the area of East Irving and Earl Streets at 6:44 p.m. Monday evening after nine bovines got loose.
A caller had advised of nine to 11 cows loose outside a trailer in the area of Producers Stockyards and that the driver was unaware that the cows were loose. A second call was received that seven of the cows were in the 400 block of East Irving Street.
Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol located the owner north of the Bucyrus patrol post and secured the trailer then returned to the East Irving Street area. The cows had moved north on High Street from East Irving Street. The owner was able to corral the animals and get them back into the trailer.

8:17 a.m.-Officers spoke to an apartment manager in the 600 block of Wilbur Street regarding trespass issues involving people that had been evicted.
8:33 a.m.-Employees at Taco Bell were advised by officers of wind damage to their sign.
12:36 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint and a 15-year-old Bucyrus boy was arrested in the 200 block of East Charles Street and charged with domestic violence. He was transported to Juvenile Court.
1:28 p.m.-Officers are investigating a burglary in the 800 block of High Street. A resident reported his home broken into and a TV stolen.
4:37 p.m.-A 911 open line was investigated in the 500 block of South Spring Street. It was a misdial.
5:07 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person regarding a hit-skip accident in the 500 block of South Poplar Street.

7:12 p.m.- A report of the unauthorized use of a vehicle was taken in the 1300 block of Home Circle Drive. A complainant reported her car stolen by a person she took in a week earlier. The car was located in Mansfield and the owner was notified.
7:19 p.m.- A report of suspicious people possibly trespassing in the 200 block of Whetstone Street was taken.
8:39 p.m.- Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance personnel in the 200 block of Penn Avenue at the scene of a natural death.
8:45 p.m.- A report of a suspicious person was made in the 400 block of Heritage Circle. An unknown person knocked on the door and left and a security check was made.
9:40 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 500 block of Gay Street. It was reportedly a verbal dispute and the parties agreed to separate for the night.
9:44 p.m.- A report of child abuse was received and is under investigation.
10:34 p.m.-A disturbance in the area of Bucyrus Plaza was investigated. Reportedly there was indecent exposure, however, no incident of that was located.
11:36 p.m.-A 9-1-1 hang-up call was received in the 1700 block of Marion Road. It turned out to be an accidental dial from a child.

12:39 a.m.-A 9-1-1 hang-up call was investigated in the 1000 block of Wingert Street. No one was located in the area needing assistance.
12:49 a.m.-Officers responded with the Bucyrus Fire Department to the 200 block of Nauman Avenue regarding a structure fire.
6:49 a.m.-A Clinton Street resident reported a vehicle ransacked overnight. No damage or theft was reported.
