BUCYRUSꟷBucyrus Police officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation of an overdose early Friday morning.

Officers were called to the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue at 6:56 a.m. to assist deputies with a person who had overdosed.

10:39 a.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Children’s Services in the 600 block of Oakwood Avenue.

12:43 p.m.-A message was delivered in the 200 block of West Warren Street.

2:03 p.m.-A civil standby was conducted in the 200 block of West Warren Street.

3:23 p.m.-Officers assisted someone experiencing mental issues in the 500 block of South Spring Street. People were having a verbal dispute and personal property was gathered and a person left the area.

3:27 p.m.-Officers responded to an alarm in the 200 block of South Poplar Street. It was a false alarm.

6:59 p.m.-Officers assisted the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office with a citizen assist of a Bucyrus resident stranded in Wyandot County. The person was relayed from Oceola to Bucyrus.

10:46 p.m.-A Bucyrus resident stopped at the police department after reporting a vehicle following him through town.  Officers did not see the vehicle in question but provided him an escort home.

11:09 p.m.-A report of a vehicle peeling tires behind Suburban Lanes was investigated. The described vehicle was a gold GMC truck that was gone from the area.

11:49 p.m.-Officers responded to the Bucyrus Community Hospital regarding a former patient refusing to leave and becoming belligerent. He agreed to leave voluntarily when officers arrived.

12:21 a.m.-A barking dog complaint in the 400 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.

8:10 a.m.-Officers spoke with a person regarding a domestic issue in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

9:20 a.m.-A person spoke with officers regarding past domestic issues from the 700 block of Gay Street.

9:53 a.m.-A North Poplar Street resident spoke with an officer regarding landlord-tenant issues. An assault report was made.

11:46 a.m.-Officers responded to a domestic problem in the 700 block of Gay Street. The domestic issue was mediated.

2:04 p.m.-Officers responded to a neighborhood complaint in the area of Heritage Circle. It was a complaint regarding an unruly juvenile.

3:48 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic complaint in the 100 block of Emerson Street. It was a verbal dispute.

7:30 p.m.-Officers investigated a complaint of a suspicious person in the 400 block of East Charles Street. The person was waiting on the homeowner.

8:07 p.m.-Officers arrested a juvenile on a warrant out of Crawford County. The juvenile was taken to the Wood County Juvenile Facility.

11:29 p.m.-A report of a loud boom from the area around East Southern Avenue was investigated.

11:31 p.m.-A report of a loud boom from the area around Marion Road and Beal Avenue was investigated.

2:22 a.m.-An officer heard a loud boom north of West Perry Street. He checked the area and was not able to locate anything or hear any further sounds.

3:41 a.m.-A resident at Bucyrus Plaza reported receiving threatening phone calls from someone they don’t know.

5:26 a.m.-A report of an unclothed man sitting on a patio in the 300 block of East Warren Street was investigated. He was not located.

6:36 a.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 500 block of S. Poplar St.

5:09 p.m.- A civil standby was requested in the 200 block of West Warren Street. People completed a transfer of personal property.

9:02 p.m.- Officers spoke to a person in the 800 block of Clay Street about a civil matter. A person arrested from a drug bust about two months earlier had left a camper on the property.

9:34 p.m.- Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 300 block of Lawn Avenue. The fire department had an open burn under control.

10:04 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was made in the 100 block of Bland Avenue.

10:29 p.m.- A domestic dispute was reported in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street.

10:50 p.m.-Officers checked the area of Marion Road and Southern Avenue for a downed speed limit sign.

11:17 p.m.-Officers checked the 900 block of Earl Street for a person opening car doors. A car prowler had been reported in the area and a barn door was found open and dogs were barking. No description was reported.

1:03 a.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 100 block of North Spring Street. A person reported telecommunications harassment.

6:45 a.m.-Officers retrieved for investigation a $20 counterfeit bill used by a patron at Hy-Miler in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue.
