BUCYRUS― A traffic stop in the area of Hopley and Southern Avenues resulted in the arrest of a passenger in the vehicle at 8:46 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Christopher Bunker, 47, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for possible additional felony charges.

8:58 a.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
12:05 a.m.-A person came to the station to report her daughter’s hoverboard stolen in February.
1:46 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.
4:12 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a dog running loose in the 400 block of Heritage Circle. The dog knocked down a child at the bus stop. The residence of the dog was located.
4:31 p.m.-Officers made a pick-up in the 300 block of Hopley Avenue. It was determined not to be drug-related.
4:42 p.m.- Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 400 block of East Charles Street.
5:32 p.m.-Officers spoke with a resident at the station regarding telecommunications harassment.
5:51 p.m.-Officers searched the 200 block of Dudley Street for a missing dog. The dog named “Twitch” was returned to its owner.
5:54 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of juveniles throwing rocks at homes and cars in the Hopley Avenue and South East Street area. Officers spoke with the juveniles and they denied what they were throwing was at vehicles.
6:08 p.m.-Officers responded to a complaint of a person trespassing and hiding on the caller’s porch. The man was reportedly yelling and not making sense according to the caller. Robert M. Jones, 28, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held pending court.
7:36 p.m.-Officers spoke to a person in the 600 block of South Walnut Street regarding suspicious activity with dogs in the area.
8:49 p.m.-A Bucyrus resident came to the police department to report a cell phone bill in her name that was opened fraudulently.
9:14 p.m.-A loud music complaint was investigated in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue.
10:02 p.m.-Officers investigated a drug abuse complaint at Woodbine Apartments.

1:31 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of South East Street was investigated. A door of a parked vehicle was open. Nothing appeared to be amiss.
2:44 a.m.-A resident in the 200 block of North Walnut Street reported hearing something in a downstairs apartment. No one was located in the area and there did not appear to be any problem at the residence.
2:55 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle stuck in a field off of Farmview Avenue was investigated. A car was reportedly stuck in the field at the dead-end of the street and there were two occupants. The occupants fled the scene and the vehicle was towed away. At 5:29 a.m., a call was received of a person reporting the car stolen and the matter is under investigation.
3:29 a.m.-Officers assisted OSP troopers on a semi-tractor trailer crash and cargo spill in the area of US 30 and Ohio 4, north of the city. EMS personnel and the Bucyrus Fire Department also responded. A semi-tractor trailer hauling raw pork rolled over off the side of the highway near the Tiffin Street overpass. The cargo was spilled and US 30 was closed in both directions. The driver and passenger reportedly were not injured.
6:41 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance between neighbors in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.
7:18 a.m.-Officers mediated a parking complaint and neighborhood dispute in the 200 block of East Center Street.
7:30 a.m.-Officers directed traffic on the square due to the diverted truck traffic from US 30. US 30 reopened at 9:00 a.m.
7:49 a.m.-Officers investigated a minor two-vehicle collision in the 400 block of Sears Street.
