Bucyrus police had a busy holiday weekend including arresting four people on drug-related charges.

On Friday afternoon, 28-year-old Chaz Akers was arrested in the area of Warren Street and Highland Avenue. Akers was charged with having drug paraphernalia and possession of drug abuse instruments. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

Twenty-two-year-old Lane Biederman and 20-year-old Joshua Rankins were arrested Friday evening. Biederman was charged for having drug paraphernalia, issued a criminal citation and released with a court date.

Rankins was charged with possession of heroin and is being held at the Crawford County Justice Center for investigation.

Twenty-one-year-old Dallas Davidson was arrested Sunday evening and charged with having drug paraphernalia. Davidson was also given a citation for driving under suspension. Davidson was given a summons and court date and released from custody.
